Motorola EX124G Touchscreen Now Available From TracFone

The new Motorola EX124G that I wrote about yesterday as showing up in some Walmart's is now available as a TracFone. It showed up today on the Tracfone Web site for $79.99 with double minutes for life. No special offers like a free refill or anything.  You can at least use coupon code GI2011 to get $5 off on the price.

Early reviews have found that the touchscreen is harder to use than the one on the cheaper LG 500G which is probably why a (bleh) stylus comes with the phone. For more details and an unboxing video from Wontek see my earlier post on the Net10 version.

    1. Did you had a problem with the lock feature when trying to set-up/use voicemail? It does not respond when I press 1 for English. Then it locks again and again. It keeps asking "are you still there" and then it ends the call by apologizing and saying "Good Bye". It was purchased @ K-Mart 2 months ago and I'm stuck with it. I was told too bad you didn't purchase replacement insurence.

    2. You may just need to unlock the touchscreen:
      1. Press the power button.

      2. A lock icon should appear on the screen. Slide it to the circle on the right to unlock.
