Today Red Pocket Mobile unveiled their new $59.99/month "MAX" plan which includes unlimited voice, messaging (text and picture) and 2 GB of 4G data on the AT&T network.
This plan is almost identical to the one that fellow AT&T MVNO H2O Wireless rolled out last month. The biggest difference is that Red Pocket is up front about the 2GB data cap unlike H20 which calls their plan unlimited but reportedly has a secret 1 GB cap.
RedPocket also includes $2/month of international calling credit. Unused international credit rolls over. Rates for international calls are as low as penny/minute and Red Pocket has direct dialing for international calls, unlike H20 which makes you to dial a 15 digit long access code first. Red Pocket is also unique among US prepaid operators in offering telephone support in four languages; English, Spanish, Chinese and Filipino.
