Free Page Plus Activations and Up to 25% Off First Month at Kitty Wireless

Page Plus online dealer Kitty Wireless has extended its free activation and 10-25% off first month promotions through the end of November.

Page Plus activations with a new Page Plus number (normally $9.99) are free through 3 PM EST on 11/30/13. Click here kittywireless.com/pageplus/freeactivation.html to activate a phone on a new Page Plus number.

Update 11/3/2013: free activations have been temporarily suspended "Due to a high amount of new activation fraud". Kitty Wireless is hardening their activation system and expects to have free activations available again by 11/10.

If you are porting a number from another operator,  the port and activation is always free at Kitty Wireless. Click here: kittywireless.com/pageplus/freeport.html to port your number from another carrier to a new or existing Page Plus account.

New activations and port-ins come with a free $2 Page Pus airtime credit. In addition, this month of October, Kitty Wireless is also giving everyone who activates new PagePlus service  a coupon good for 25% off  a $10 Pay As You Go refill or 25% off your first month on the $12 Plan or 10% off the first month on any other monthly plan.

Activations are automated and normally take about 5 minutes. You will receive an email with programming instructions when your activation is complete. Port requests depend on the operator you are porting from and can take hours and occasionally days to complete.

The following ongoing Kitty Wireless coupon codes are still valid.

Use coupon code SAVE3 to save 3% off any Page Plus refill PIN or the first month of  month of a new Page Plus AutoPay plan. Valid through 11/30/13.

Use coupon code SERV25 to save 3% off any Page Plus online service such as ESN (phone) or phone number changes. Valid through 11/30/13.

  1. Anybody know how PagePlus can get away with charging $990 per GB of data? (on the PayGo plan)

    1. It's there as an option, what's wrong with that?

  2. Simple. They don't actually CHARGE you for a GB.
If you are on paygo and NEED a mb or two, you pay 99c or $1.98. The rest of the time, you keep data turned off. It's there for convenience for low-usage customers pay a low minimum/month for service.
GoPhone charged double PagePlus for a mb of paygo data the last time I looked.

    1. my smartphone uses 5-10MB just to connect to the internet and sync with Google Voice, do that a couple times a day and see how much that costs.

    2. If you can't bear to turn off data until you really NEED it, sign up for the 12 or 1200 TnT. You can also turn off background data and email push on those plans; do everything manually and save some mb. If you can't afford a monthly plan, carry a Freedompop 3G/4G modem and use free WiFi. Nobody is holding a g** to your head and making you sign up for a plan that is not ideal for smartphones, right?

  3. I think the point is 99¢/MB is not a competitive rate to charge in a world of smartphones.

    1. 99c/mb is actually competitive for a byod smartphone on a Verizon network PayGo plan (the direct competition). Just one newcomer, Selectel, offers a better rate/mb. Everyone else either makes you buy their new smartphone; does not offer data at all; charges much more for a minute or text than the 3 best rate Pageplus refills; prohibits smartphones; or charges more for a mb (57% more). Pageplus will improve the rate when competitive pressure from Selectel and other direct competitors starts to affect their paygo business. They have made plenty of plan improvements over the past 3 years but this rate survives.
I agree someone would have to be clueless to leave data turned on with their smartphone using Pageplus paygo. They need to be on a Pageplus monthly plan or take a chance with their number on Selectel. With the money they save on Selectel paygo data after they spend $85 up front, they might not mind calling or emailing the company or their dealer every time they need their balance. They might take a chance without being able to read any TOS on the website. They may not miss an online account, or call records.
      Sound like you? Go ahead.
