Straight Talk Wireless is finally offering nano SIMs. The smaller SIMs have been required in Apple products since the iPhone 5, which launched Sept, 2012. The nano craze seems to be spreading to Android and Windows Phone as well with the Moto X and Lumia 1520 requiring the tiny card. While it wasn't hard to cut a larger card down to nano size there was risk of damaging the card and if you really screwed it up, the phone.
Straight Talk's nano SIMs are availble in AT&T and T-Mobile flavors from the Straight Talk site for $6.99 with free shipping.
Straight Talk offers two plans for bring your own phone (BYOP) users. The $45/month Unlimited plan includes unlimited voice, messaging and data. The $60/month Unlimited International plan includes unlimited voice, messaging and data plus no extra cost calls to most landlines in 32 countries.
Data on both Unlimited Plans includes 2.5 GB of high speed data per 30 day cycle. After 2.5 GB, data speeds are reduced to a crawl for the remainder of the 30 day cycle. High speed data is restored once a new 30 day service plan is added at the end of the 30 day plan cycle.
