Page Plus PAYGO Price Cuts Go Live, More Data for $39.95 and $55 Plans Soon

According to PagePlus dealer Kitty Wireless, PagePlus Cellular's previously announced data and MMS price reductions on the Pay As You Go plan are now live.

Data on the Pay As You Go Plan is now priced at 10¢/MB instead of 99¢ and MMS are 5¢ instead of 25¢ each. As before, PagePlus also charges for the data used sending or receiving an MMS in addition to the per message charge.

Kitty Wireless also announced that two of PagePlus' monthly plans will be getting more data sometime around the end of April. The $39.95 Unlimited Talk and Text plan will get its included data increased from 500 MB to 1 GB per month. The $55 Unlimited T&T Plan will go from 2.5 GB to 3 GB per month.

PagePlus is a Verizon MVNO that's been in business since 1993 and was recently acquired by TracFone. For more about PagePlus see; Prepaid Operator Profile: Page Plus.

  1. It is still only Verizon's very slow 3G network.

  2. If Page Plus allow LTE, they will take a lot of customers from Verizon Wireless and the majority of the prepaid market. it is a very good price point by using Verizon Network.

    1. PagePlus is now charging taxes and fees for renewing airtime on their website. This is absolutely horrid and a sign of America Movi'l's filthy politics once they acquired PagePlus. Maybe, just maybe allowing LTE may help out but if they continue further with the taxes and fees, subscribers will be fleeing in droves!!!!!!!

    1. 1) Who said anything about an email?
      2) The PagePlus Website shows shows the new PAYGO rates. The PAYGO changes and the coming data increases to the monthly plans have also been confirmed by Page Plus Marketing Manager, Denny Scher.

  4. I used Page Plus for almost two years. I can't imagine going back to a 3G phone or Verizon's 3G network. After switching to AT&T I get much faster data speeds, better choice of phones, more data, and cheaper prices. I feel dumb I didn't switch sooner.

    1. True, thinking of that myself. But for people who depend on coverage, it is hard to beat Verizon. And PP is the next best option. Selectel is too young and online balance going wacko.

But I am thinking of an ATT MVNO, leaning towards h2o over airvoice despite worse customer service. Hopefully, I can handle it all online.

    2. I loved PPC until my 3G phone died. I didn't want to go through the pain of flashing a phone. I moved on to H2O and I love the flexibility of a sim-based phone.

    1. I am thinking about this. Some folks don't think about the cost of a flashed phone when calculating the monthly bill. I love PPC, but I hate the 3G phones. Verizon prepaid is looking like a good option.

    2. You will soon be able to get 1GB of data and unlimited text, voice on Pageplus for LESS than $46.50 no tax. You can also use Straight Talk iPhone 4, 4s, and 5 on PagePlus.

  6. Not everybody wants an iPhone. I will take my Verizon Prepaid Moto G over an iphone 4 and 4S. $40 plus tax $43? Give me the Moto G.

  7. I thought the price was $45 plus tax?

    1. Normal Price is $45 plus tax, if you sign up with auto-pay you save $5 plus tax (State tax) so if in NY is $40 plus tax 8.625% or 3.45 total is $43.45 instead of $48.88 save $5.43

  8. Verizon prepaid/mvnos win on coverage but Att prepaid/mvnos have a good overall setup with stronger byod and faster data speed then Verizon and better coverage then Tmobile or Sprint. Att prepaid/mvnos can be a happy medium.

  10. Page plus isn't going bad after the America Movil buy out . AM is just going to cut some personnel in order to offer more data, texts and minutes. See AM is handing out perks to PPC customers.
