2 Day Sale, $100 Discount On All Versions of the 32GB Motorola Moto X

Motorola.com is running a 2 day sale on the 32 GB verision of its Moto X flagship.

Now through 11:59 PM PT Thursday June 5, the 32 GB Moto X is selling for $349 ($299 for the Republic Wireless version).

That's a $100 discount across the board and includes the Developer Edition. Shipping is free on this offer and there is no sales tax. The discount will be applied in your cart.

Visit Motorola's Moto Maker site during the sale hours to get the special price and to design your custom Moto X. Moto Maker gives you a choice of 18 main colors plus custom colors for the trim around the camera lens and volume buttons. You can also specify a custom boot screen message and have your name or a short message inscribed on the back of the phone. The wood back in the image is $25 extra.

Because it's unlocked and supports all of AT&T and T-Mobile's 2G, 3G and LTE bands the Moto X is a great prepaid phone on AT&T, T-Mobile or any of their MVNOs.

The Sprint and Verizon specific CDMA models are also included in the sale, however they can't currently be used on any prepaid carrier or MVNO.

In spite of what appear to be fairly modest specs for a flagship phone (dual core 1.7 Ghz processor, 2 GB of RAM, 4.7" 720x1280px screen and a 10 MP camera) the Moto X has been widely praised by the tech press for its performance and user friendliness. It runs Android KitKat and has a a number of unique software features like Active Display which uses the phone's AMOLED to display notifications of missed calls, texts, emails and upcoming calendar events even while the phone is locked and sleeping.

  5. The MotoX is fast. 16Mbps on Tmobile LTE, and 11Mbps on HSPA+. About 6Mbps in my area on AT&T HSPA+.

  7. I guess that the new Moto G LTE model did not begin shipping on June 3rd, as has been announced. ...Amazon has updated its page to read "Usually ships within 4-7 weeks." Has anyone heard anything regarding the Moto G LTE's shipping date?

Dennis -- I was also wondering if Motorola is going to eventually offer a 16GB version of the Moto G LTE. Based on what I've read, there seems to be some uncertainty as to whether there will be a 16GB Moto G LTE phone. Any thoughts or information?

      Thanks.
