  2. @Dennis Bournique: NEWS TIP

AT&T has rolled out two new plans on its GoPhone website. But, so far, they are making them visible only to people who live in Puerto Rico. To see the new plans, go to the GoPhone website and provide this zip code when prompted: 00921 (San Juan, Puerto Rico). If you don't get the zip code prompt when first arriving at the website, click "Change" next to your zip code at the top of the page.

    GoPhone website:

    1. Those plans launched a month ago in Puerto Rico. They are probably a reaction to Puerto Rico based, America Movil owned Claro which has plans with unlimited talk, text and data for:
$40: 1 GB high speed LTE
$45 2.5 GB high speed LTE
$55 4 GB high speed LTE
unlimited throttled data is available after the high-speed allowance is used.

Nice if you live in Puerto Rico but I think it's unlikely that GoPhone will bring those plans to the US. AT&T is pushing Cricket as its value priced prepaid brand in the 50 states but has no Cricket dealers in Puerto Rico so it's using GoPhone to compete there.

  3. @Dennis Bournique: UPDATE

The two new GoPhone plans are in the "Smartphone plans" section: $60 plan with 3.5 GB, and $50 plan with 2 GB.
