  1. Dumb question, but should I assume that "GSMT" means it is on the T-Mobile native network with no roaming, or is there some roaming on AT&T?

    1. It is T-Mobile native only, no roaming.

  2. "It is T-Mobile native only, no roaming."

which means the worst coverage possible in the US.

Do they even have an option under GSMT to pay extra for roaming?

    1. Nope, among T-Mobile based operators only T-Mobile Prepaid, MetroPCS, Brightspot, and WFM have voice and text roaming.

    2. I am thinking about switching to Bright spots $35 plan, didn't know they allowed voice roaming. Out of curiosity how many minutes can you voice roam, your entire allotment? Back in 2005 I was with sprint and had a roaming plan but they ALWAYS charged me roaming fees for roaming onto Verizon (back when voice roaming was probably more expensive, especially roaming onto Verizon).

    3. I looked on the "Walmart Family Mobile" site, and it said there was no data roaming. Did they change something?

    4. AFAIK, WFM never had domestic data roaming.

    5. @zach, there's no stated limit on T-Mobile or Brightspot voice roaming and I haven't heard of anyone being penalized for roaming too much.
