  2. I have a question. I used to have the 30 dollars plan but moved from T-Mobile. If I go back to T-Mobile will I be able to get it again with the same number? Thank you.

    1. I believe it will still be considered a new activation if you port in, and the $30 so called secret plan will be available as long as activation is done on T-Mo web site, based on new $0.99 SIMs purchased.

    2. If you didn't port your T-Mobile number to AT&T and it's been less than 120 days since your last paid month on the old plan ended, you can just add $30 to restart the plan. If it's been more than 120 days the number has been recycled.

If you ported your T-Mobile number to AT&T you can port it back to T-Mobile when you activate the new SIM.

    3. Thank you to the two of you guys. I had the plan and moved from it 2 years ago but might go back to T-Mobile.

  3. Do these SIMs have an unlimited shelf life and activation is possible at any time? Or do they expire after some period of time?

    1. There's an expiration date printed on the card that holds the SIM. It's been between 2 and 3 years in the future on the SIMs I've bought from T-Mobile.

    2. Is there a difference between the Post-Paid and Pre-Paid Sims. I have a few sitting here and I can't remember if they are are Post or Pre-Paid and I don't see anything on the box they come in identifying them as either?

    3. The SIMs themselves seem to be the same. T-Mobile switched my prepaid account to an unactivated SIM that came in a postpaid phone with out question.

  4. Are there really differences in the sim card for data only plans?

    1. As far a I know the only difference is that the kits come with the activation code needed to activate on prepaid phone plans. The mobile broadbrand SIms don't come with the code.

    2. SIMs are the same. If you want to use a regular SIM on a broadband plan, customer service has to manually add the SIM serial number to the database used for mobile broadband SIMs.

  5. Can this plan be used like the Simple while I am in Ireland?

    1. T-Mobile Prepaid (all plans) roam in Ireland at $1.49/minute. Texts are 50¢ each to send, 10¢ each to receive. International data roaming is not available.

    2. From T-Mobile roaming FAQs: "What is my data speed in Simple Global countries, if I'm not on a Simple Choice plan?
T-Mobile postpaid subscribers not enrolled in a Simple Choice plan can get up to 3G speeds. Non-Simple Choice users need to make sure to activate the free World Class feature to activate international roaming and be able to use talk, text, and data services. Prepaid and Simple Choice No Credit Check plans do not include international data roaming."

  6. The link you have for the "mini" Mobile Broadband SIM is actually for the "micro" SIM. I think the link for the "mini" should be:
