Ended: RingPlus 1000 Minute, 1000 Text, 1000 MB FREE Plan Open Sept 24 4 - 9 PM PDT

Sprint MVNO RingPlus is re-opening their Future Free Plan today Sept 24 from  4 to 9 PM today Sept 24. Here are the details from the RingPlus Discourse forum

Starting now, RingPlus’ Future Free Plan (Phase 2) featuring 1000/1000/1000 (talk, text, and 4G LTE data) per month with Bring Your Own Sprint Device ring www.ringplus.net. If you don’t already have a Sprint phone to you to activate, you can buy an HTC Desire 510 (B-Stock) for $50 in the RingPlus Store during the promo time at https://store.ringplus.net. The Future Free Plan from Tuesday (September 22, 2015) is being repeated today with a slight variation:

(1) This time, new participants will be asked to connect their RingPlus account to their Facebook account in the signup process, and to post to their Facebook page about RingPlus and the Future Free Plan, including #ringplus; and

(2) After the first month on the Plan, if you want to keep it, the Plan will require a minimum $5.00 Top-Up balance to be maintained on the account for overages which are billed at 2 cents per minute, text, and MB. This means your credit card on file will be automatically charged $5.00 every time your Top-Up balance goes to $0.00. To be clear, the Top-Up balance will always be available for you to use, and it will not expire. So, it’s not a monthly fee, or line charge, etc. If you don’t use overages, you will not have to Top Up, and you will pay nothing each month.

This offer is for new users only, and will available while supplies last or until 9pm PDT whichever happens first.

For your convenience here is a Sample post, but please feel free to post anything you want. Please be sure to include #ringplus.

    1. nothing is really free. your information is WAY MORE valuable than the cost to provide this "service" plan to you. these RingPlus options are all about data mining for Sprint. They ALL do it. Most people do not how valuable their "personally" inputted information is to these huge wireless companies.

    2. You are aware you can just make a fake Facebook account, correct? That said, I'm not 100% sure I'd trust R+ with my call logs / texts / data traffic but we're all already in bed with Google whether we like it or not so what the hell, why not I suppose.

    3. Couldn't you just use your fake Facebook account? The one you created for purposes such as this.

    4. Why would you think RingPlus gives a crap people using Facebook? Can't you tell?

The point of posting to Facebook is to advertise to the interwebs that you signed up for RingPlus. Next time it could be Twitter, send out an email, or whatever else they can think of. All these promos are just designed to convince new people to be R+ users.

"My apologies: The research promo for existing members has been delayed due unexpected 3rd party system maintenance. We will announce the conditions this Monday Sep 28 and conduct it on Tuesday Sep 29."

  13. My guess is that this promo for existing members won't be too enticing since it will have a one day warning unlike the first two.
