Cricket Wireless Offers $100 Bill Credit When You Switch

Cricket Wireless Switcher Offer
It looks like Cricket Wireless really wants you to make the switch! Due to popular demand, this AT&T subsidiary has decided to bring back their promotion by offering a new $100 bill credit to those who make the switch to Cricket Nation.

If you want to take advantage of this $100 bill credit, you simply have to bring your number to Cricket between the dates of Dec. 7, 2015 to Jan. 7, 2016. Unfortunately, the bill credit offer excludes ports from AT&T.

Cricket also previously announced two other holiday offers-- an instant discount on the LG G Stylo ($49.99) and the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime ($29.99); and a free offer on select 4G LTE devices. Users may be able to combine these two promos with the switcher offer after a mail-in rebate Cricket Visa Promotion Card.

And since Cricket wants to prove that they are the Merrier Carrier, they also offer a Group Save discount for the whole family to take advantage of. Each eligible ported number added as a new line into the account can receive the $100 bill credit too. The discount, however, is only applicable to lines 2-5 added onto the account.

The $100 bill credit switcher offer runs from today until January 7, 2016 only.

    1. You will only get a $100 credit because you are only switching one new line to Cricket.

  5. 1st question:
Last year I activated a T-Mobile prepaid sim, funded it with $10 and ported the # out to Cricket. I hope T-Mobile still allows port outs from numbers which are less than 30 days.

    2nd Question:
I started an ATT Straight Talk service, then to Verizon Straight Talk. My number is originally an ATT number but is now being used on Verizon. Would this qualify for the rebate if I ported it to Cricket?

  6. You don't even need to put money on the Tmobile SIM....

    1. If you ported a non-AT&T number to Cricket between Dec. 7, 2015 and Jan. 7, 2016 and keep the line active & in good standing for 45 days you are supposed to received a $100 bill credit with-in 60 days of activation.

If you meet the requirements and were told you don't qualify by Cricket customer support, I recommend emailing support@cricketwireless.zendesk.com and asking for help.

  8. I'm having problems getting the credit too. They keep saying its a gift card offer that ended November 30 and I missed it. Does anyone have a screen shot of the bill credit offer? I ported two Sprint numbers. Also, is it the day you order the phone or the day you port after receiving the phone?

    1. Cricket is notorious for denying credits for no good reason. As long as you ordered the phone by Jan 7 and gave them the numbers to port at the time of the order you should be eligible.

Email support@cricketwireless.zendesk.com They have a good record for helping customers wrongly denied credits.

  10. So, for the second time a contacted customer support about the $100 credit for porting-in to Cricket last December. I bought a BLU Life One X phone and a Cricket SIM from Amazon. Today I was told that because I bought the SIM from Amazon I DID NOT QUALIFY FOR THE $100 ACCOUNT CREDIT. BUYER BE WARE.

    1. If you haven't already try emailing support@cricketwireless.zendesk.com That seems to be the Cricket support option that has the best record for resolving rebate and account credit issues.

    2. As Dennis suggested I emailed support@cricketwireless.zendesk.com about my $100 December port-in credit. First they said that I did not qualify because I bought the SIM from Amazon. After email exchanges in which I emphasized that I handled the activation and port-in procedure myself at the Cricket webside without the involvement of any other "retailer," I received my account credit. My advice for future Cricket promotions: always buy the SIM Kit directly from Cricket Wireless.

  11. You get the credit 45 days after you make the first payment, however, within those 45 days, if you make the payment after the line was suspended for lack of payment you no longer qualify for the credit.

    1. You can use it to pay for tour service or to buy phones or accessories from Cricket. Some users have reported problems recently using the cards to pay for service on the Cricket website. Email support@cricketwireless.zendesk.com if you have trouble using the card on the Cricket site, they can apply the card for you,
