  3. Good find! I have activated a brand new from Walmart VZ tower Straight Talk phone on Red Pocket CDMAV. You can try the ESN online from the brick and mortar store at your chosen BYOD site before you purchase, if it's good, check out.

  4. Verizon will make up the loss on data purchases. I think Verizon is a rip off. Now that T-Mobile has really improved its coverage, why should I spend so much on VZW.

    1. I'll wait to see if TMobile keeps its promises. I'm in a state in the East that is like many, with a only a third of it covered by TMobile... and almost all of it covered by Verizon. In-state TMobile sources tell me the coverage expansion will take TMobile coverage up to being
2/3 of the state... still spotty compared to the 90%+ Verizon coverage blanket.

And to use the new coverage, I'd have to buy a special rare phone with a radio few have.

We'll know TMobile is serious about providing a strong national network when they stop misleading with "POPs"-based stats..meaningless in the mobile world.

Regardless of whether or not TMobile's network truly rivals Verizon, it does appear they have buried Sprint.

    2. AFAIK Tmobile Hasn't really expanded their coverage much, they've converted a lot of Existing 2g to LTE, yes.

  5. VZ moto e was $9.99 at BB black friday (missed it!). VZ LG transpyre was $29.99 at walmart a few weeks ago. i got one (transpyre) and activated it on tracfone with no hassles (got to buy the sim/activation, which was $3). this article comes up short on "deals".

  6. I hate to say it by all 3 of these phone is not worth buying at even half price. Too low specs and I would rather spend a little more and get something better.

  7. If you buy from the VZ website they force you to buy $45 airtime with it.

The VZ Moto E is $40 at Frys electronics almost all the time.

So unless you're planning to stay with VZ, not really the best deal.

The other two phones arent much to write home about.
