T-Mobile to Offer Free Smartphones Starting February 3rd

Earlier today, T-Mobile announced a new promo that will surely excite smartphone users who are looking for a new device to use. Beginning Wednesday, February 3, individuals who sign up for a prepaid plan of $40 per month or more can get a new device completely for free. The devices that are available under this promotion include the following:
  • Coolpad Rogue
  • LG Leon
  • ZTE Obsidian
  • Samsung Galaxy Core Prime
Customers who take advantage of the promo will receive a $50 mail-in rebate to cover the device cost. Another $50 mail-in rebate is available to customers under the Simple Choice No Credit Check plan once a second line is activated.

The offer is only available on customers under the Simple Choice Prepaid, Simple Choice No Credit, and Simply Prepaid plans. There is also no mention of until when the promotion will be available. The devices under the promo are only available in stores and not online so make sure you head over to the nearest T-Mobile store to check out your options!

    2. I think he's talking the quality of the phones, and I can attest at least with the Obsidian. I gave it as a Christmas gift to a friend and the battery life is life horrid. Plus the specs mention band 12 but how can it even use it when it's not even VoLTE capable according to the same specs.

  3. At least the ZTE obsidian has an ambient light sensor and Led notification, of which the Samsung has neither.

  4. I'm not either, I was just comparing two of the free phone features, not many millenials would even be caught with a ZTE device, I happen to like them for the price.
