Net10 Adds Couple of Options for Monthly Prepaid Plans

A few days ago, TracFone's subsidiary Straight Talk added a new plan option to its lineup. Taking after its sister company, Net10 Wireless has redefined its prepaid plan lineup to better provide options for its customers.  But compared to the former, Net10 has added a couple of plans-- a $60 plan and a $75 plan; both of which include unlimited talk, text and data with varying data allotment.

With the new plans, Net10 now offers the following unlimited monthly prepaid plans:

  • $35 per month - comes with unlimited talk, text and data with first 500 MB at high speeds
  • $40 per month - comes with unlimited talk, text and data with first 1.5 GB at high speeds
  • $50 per month - comes with unlimited talk, text and data with first 5 GB at high speeds 
  • $60 per month - comes with unlimited talk, text and data with first 7 GB at high speeds
  • $65 monthly international plan - comes with unlimited talk, text and data with first 5 GB at high speeds, international calling ($5 auto pay discount available)
  • $75 per month - comes with unlimited talk, text and data with first 10 GB at high speeds
Other than the monthly prepaid plans, Net10 still offers other plans for customers.

30-day Plans

Net10 offers 30-day plans for basic phones, which come with auto refill and carryover. Among the options under this plan include:
  • $15 per month - comes with 200 minutes, SMS 1 minute each, MMS 1.5 min per each plus data used 
  • $25 per month - comes with 1,000 minutes, SMS 1 minute each, MMS 1.5 min per each plus data used 
  • $30 per month - comes with 500 minutes, SMS 1 minute each, MMS 1.5 min per each plus data used
Pay As You Go Plans with carryover

Net10 offers Pay As You Go Plans that come with carryover, depending on the number of days you wish to use the plan:

  • $20 for 200 minutes valid for 30 days
  • $30 for 300 minutes valid for 60 days  
  • $45 for 600 minutes valid for 60 days 
  • $60 for 900 minutes valid for 90 days 
  • $100 for 1500 minutes valid for 180 days 
Family Plans

Net10 also offers family plans starting at $75 a month for two lines. Other options include:

  • $75 per month for 2 lines - comes with unlimited talk, text and data with first 1.5 GB of data at high speeds 
  • $90 per month for 2 lines - comes with unlimited talk, text and data with first 5 GB of data at high speeds  
  • $130 per month for 3 lines - comes with unlimited talk, text and data with first 5 GB of data at high speeds  
  • $170 per month for 4 lines - comes with unlimited talk, text and data with first 5 GB of data at high speeds  

Phone Upgrade Plans

There is also an option to go for the unlimited phone upgrade plan offered by Net10:

  • $60 Unlimited with Upgrade Plan - comes with unlimited talk, text and data with first 5GB at high speeds plus 100 minutes of international calling. Customers on this plan earn 1 point per top up and offers a $300 phone discount, which they can use for an upgrade every 18 months.
  • $70 Unlimited with Upgrade Plan - comes with unlimited talk, text and data with first 5GB at high speeds plus 200 minutes of international calling. Customers on this plan earn 1.5 points per top up and offers a $300 phone discount, which they can use for an upgrade every 12 months.
  • $80 Unlimited with Upgrade Plan - comes with unlimited talk, text and data with first 5GB at high speeds plus 300 minutes of international calling. Customers on this plan earn 3 points per top up and offers a $200 phone discount, which they can use for an upgrade every 6 months.
Hotspot Plans

Net10 also offers a mobile hotspot plan that comes with data and service days. Options under this plan include:

  • $10 for 500 MB and 14 days of service
  • $20 for 1 GB and 30 days of service
  • $30 for 2.5 GB and 30 days of service
  • $50 for 5 GB and 60 days of service

  3. Objectively, Cricket is twice as good, not 10 times. But despite getting rid of hyperbole, that's still nothing to shrug off (the $55 Cricket plan gives you twice as much data as the $50 Net 10 plan).
