Get Three Months Free Service When You Buy an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus From Pure TalkUSA

It's not easy to get a discount on a current iPhone, but AT&T MVNO Pure TalkUSA is giving three months of free service to anyone who buys an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus from them. Pure Talk's monthly plans range in price from $24 to $45 per month so the three free months represent a savings of between $72 and $135.

The new iPhone promotion replaces a previous Pure Talk offer that gave iPhone purchasers a $10/month discount for 12 months on any monthly plan.

Pure Talk offers the iPhones for the same prices as the Apple Store, the 16 GB models are $649 for the 6s and $749 for the 6s Plus. Add $100 for the 64 GB variant of either iPhone. 128 GB iPhones are not currently available from Pure Talk.

Pure TalkUSA also offers a lease to own plan through a company called Smart Pay but it's a lousy deal. Buying a $649 iPhone 6s 16 GB through Smart Pay will cost you a whopping $1764 ($97.35 down and $120.36 a month for 12 months)!

Pure TalkUSA offers four monthly plans;

  • $24.00/month for unlimited talk, 200 MB Data and 200 MMS each month
  • $29.00/month for unlimited talk, 1 GB MB Data and unlimited MMS each month
  • $35.00/month for unlimited talk, 1.5 GB Data and unlimited MMS each month
  • $45.00/month for unlimited talk, 2.5 GB Data and unlimited MMS each month
Plan prices include all taxes. Pure Talk USA is an official Apple partner and that means that, unlike other AT&T MVNOs that aren't Apple partners, such as H2O and Airvoice, MMS works on iPhones on Pure Talk without jail breaking.

  1. 3 months of free service with an overpriced phone that can't even MMS right, at double the price of a comparable Cricket group plan.

For some reason I'm just not impressed by any of what PT's offering, both before and after the freebie expires.

    1. @anonymous 12:59pm...I think you missed this part of the post..."Pure Talk USA is an official Apple partner and that means that, unlike other AT&T MVNOs that aren't Apple partners, such as H2O and Airvoice, MMS works on iPhones on Pure Talk without jail breaking."

    2. Groups plans are not for everybody. PT beats Cricket for individual users and couples who don't need more than a GB of monthly data. PT has great customer service and does not add taxes or fees to the bill.

    3. I would actually use PT USA. The coverage and prices are right for what I use monthly. I don't know whether I would buy an Iphone off them though. I have had better luck through ebay for more reasonable pricing, even with the tree months of free service.

    1. People who share pictures. I work with display and merchandising agents so I send and receive countless MMS from the corporate office and I also send them to the field personnel...picture is worth a thousand words type of deal.
A lot of friends and family members will also take pictures at family/friend gatherings and share with the rest of the group. A lot of people actually use picture messaging and group messaging. Maybe I'm the only one around here that uses it but certainly not in my circle of family/friends/coworkers.

    2. @SunRag1 ...What are you using besides MMS for family & friends? Many people are not Zuckerberg Zombies.

    3. I had family and friends long before I had a smart phone.

Does that mean you don't ever use group messaging or picture sharing? Odd but possible.

      Me too!

I also had a digital camera before I had a smart phone, and film cameras before that. Apparently I wasn't able to share with family and friends without and iPhone, despite my memory otherwise. LOL!

Missed the point...its not about taking pictures, its about delivering to people that don't live near you. I also have a digital camera but for everyday use picture messaging is so convenient. You take a pic and send it from your phone since you carry it with you anyway, without the need of an additional camera. Group messaging is very common as well.
I think the point being made is that nowadays, MMS messaging is very common and used by many people so the original question by Sunrag1 " Who uses MMS these days?" seems out of place IMHO as many, many people use it day in and day out.

  3. Does PureTalk throttle their LTE speeds at all?

  4. On the article, there is a typo describing the memory of Iphone.
It is stated as 128 KB instead of 128 GB.
Please correct this not to confuse readers.
