iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are Coming to MetroPCS Soon

metropcs-iphone-7
Good news for all those who are using MetroPCS! Earlier today, MetroPCS confirmed that the much awaited iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are coming to the T-Mobile MVNO very soon. The announcement comes just a week after T-Mobile released the two iPhone 7 models.

Despite the confirmation, MetroPCS shares that there will be a limited availability on these two devices for the first few weeks. According to MetroPCS, only "select" stores based in San Francisco will be offering the iPhone 7 Plus starting today. Meanwhile, there's no official date on when the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be available in other parts of the country. Instead, MetroPCS shares that both devices are "coming soon."

A visit to MetroPCS's website might confuse you however, since the two phones are already listed on it. But there's no way to actually buy either device online. On the website, MetroPCS has disclosed pricing information on both devices as well as what specific models will be available. The pricing information includes:
  • iPhone 7 Black 32GB - $649
  • iPhone 7 Jet Black 128GB - $749
  • iPhone 7 Plus Black 32GB - $769
  • iPhone 7 Plus Black 128GB - $869
MetroPCS hasn't been offering iPhone devices for a very long time. As a matter of fact, they only started selling these devices early in the year. Despite MetroPCS announcing availability of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus on a "later" date, it's still good to see that they have given their customers more options for a device they wish to start using. Hopefully, it won't take long before MetroPCS makes these two devices available nationwide.

  1. dont understand the point of buying at metro for full retail price, Why buy a locked phone at full retail, Just walk into apple store and for same price and then will be unlocked and of higher value. At least boost mobile gives you iphone 7 for $100 off and an amazing unlimited plan at $45 monthly

    2. Just talked to a store and I took a verizon sim card with me, They tried it in the new 6s that they sell and they are not unlocked, phone goes to activation menu. So iPhone 7 will not be unlocked either

  2. Metro unlocks the phone after 90 days of service anyway so it's ok I guess.

    1. Unless they are giving a discount or financing it doesn't make much sense to buy the phone from metro.

    2. That's full price so, better off buying unlocked one from Apple and use any carrier like Total for just 35$ on Verizon

    3. Better off avoiding Total along with any other Tracfone/America Movil owned brand MVNO.

    4. I'd rather use TracFone than MetroPCS. Several bars of service with really awful customer support beats zero bars with poor service

      No shit.

Of course you're not going to use a carrier that doesn't work in your area.

But assuming it does, and with all else being equal, Trashfone is as bottom of the barrel as you can possibly go.

Well, aside from trying to use the literal bottom of a barrel as your dumbphone.

No kidding, thanks Mr obvious. There are alternatives to trashfone brands Verizon network MVNOs. Total and all Movil brands should be considered non existent to anyone wanting value for their money.

  3. Only an iPhone user would pay full retail for a fad phone.

A truly enlightened Android user such as myself would prefer to save that $800 instead.
