The phone has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with f/1.8 aperture and 4K video recording. In front, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The battery on the phone is a built-in 3,300 mAh Li-Po that can last up to 23.5 hours of talk time and 17.2 days in standby mode. The G6 has a fingerprint sensor on the back and is a rugged device with IP68 certification. Upon release, it runs Android Nougat 7.0 OS.
Apart from the $150 discount on the G6, T-Mobile users can get the device under the carrier's Equipment Installment Plan for $20 down and $20 monthly payment for two years. For a limited time period, T-Mobile will be throwing in a free Google Home for those who purchase the G6 before May 7th.
Another option is to get a free LG G Pad X 8.0 tablet along with the G6. This deal is available when you buy both devices on EIP and get a mobile internet plan (at least 2GB) offered by T-Mobile. You will then receive a prepaid MasterCard card to cover the price of the LG G Pad X 8.0.
