The new Samsung Galaxy J3 Luna Pro is the latest mid-range smartphone to be offered in Straight Talk Wireless' roster of devices. Earlier today, the TracFone prepaid brand made the announcement that they will be offering the Galaxy J3 Luna Pro both at Walmart stores and online for $99.

As for the specs of this humble smartphone, the Galaxy J3 Luna Pro comes with a 5-inch LCD display with 720x1280 resolution. From within, the device runs on a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor with 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, and memory expansion of up to 256GB via a microSD card.

For its camera, the Galaxy J3 Luna Pro includes a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash, and 720p HD video. There is a secondary camera in front with a 2-megapixel sensor. On the back, there is a removable 2,600 mAh Li-Ion battery that powers the device for up to 26 hours of talk time and 20 days of standby time. Upon release, the phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.

Aside from 4G LTE, the smartphone is equipped with Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi Direct, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The phone operates on Verizon's network, making it a suitable choice for one of Straight Talk's plans that start at $35 per month.

  4. Another overprice phone that should be really listed at 49.99 the specs are on par with the phone in the range. 99 dollars is way too much for too little.
