A few days ago, we published an article on where you can buy the Moto E4 Plus. The list included Amazon, who announced that this new smartphone would be offered in its Amazon Prime Exclusive lineup. The problem was, there was no information on when the device would be available.

We finally received an answer to this question early today as Amazon announced that the Moto E4 Plus is available for preorder starting today. Devices ordered today will be available for shipping starting Aug. 11th.

If you choose to buy the Moto E4 Plus via Amazon Prime Exclusive, you'll only have to pay $140 for the 16GB variant or $160 for the 32GB variant. These prices come with a $40 discount as compared to the other retailers since these devices come with advertisements on their lock screen. But if you're the type who does not enjoy seeing advertisements on your device, you can get the Moto E4 Plus from Best Buy, B&H, Fry's, Newegg, and Motorola. Without Amazon Prime Exclusive's discount, the price of the device goes back to $180 for the 16GB variant and $200 for the 32GB variant.

The Moto E4 Plus comes with; among which include a 5.5-inch HD display, 1.4GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB onboard storage. The phone is able to take pictures with its 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a selfie flash. As for its battery, the Moto E4 Plus has a large 5,000mAh battery with a 10W charger for fast charging. A fingerprint reader is included in the device.

  1. If the ads are assuring like on my Blu r1 hd Amazon edition, I hate ads in general, but these are so non- intrusive that I don't even notice them anymore, got used to them inn less than a day, a missed call notification is more intrusive?

    1. Just be sure you have installed the software update that allegedly removes the spyware sending information back to China. Amazon stopped selling Blu for a reason, and that's probably it.

    2. Amazon has caught the Blu company selling these spyware devices twice so far. There was no excuse for Blu doing this even the first time.

Friends don't let friends buy Blu phones: This company deserves a swift bankruptcy.

    1. This latest Moto E is likely to turn out to be the better phone, and indeed competitive, in the long run.

    1. I'm not sure the crude offerings of this burner company are ever the "best" at anything.

    2. Based on the Alcatel IdealXCITE specs (SD210 1 GB RAM, 8GB storage) I think the Admiral is being sarcastic.
