This Week's Prepaid Phone Deals

Walmart, Radio Shack and BestBuy all have prepaid phones on sale this week. Prices are good through Saturday Feb 5 unless otherwise indicated.

In addition to the Boost Sanyo Incognito for $69.99 deal that I posted about earlier, BestBuy also has the Samsung Intercept Android phone (image, left) for Virgin Mobile on sale for $169.99. This is the best price yet on the Intercept which normally goes for $249.99.  But unless you must have a QWERTY keyboard the LG Optimus V is $20 less and it's a much better Android phone with a bigger, brighter and higher resolution screen and a latter version (2.2 vs. 2.1) of  Android.

Walmart.com and Walmart stores have the following deals:

The AT&T GoPhone Samsung A107 basic flip phone has a 2" 128x138px internal display and a browser but no external display. It's on sale for $14.88 (regular price $19.88).

The AT&T Nokia C3 QWERTY bar phone with 2.4 inch 320x240 px screen, 2 MP camera, music player and memory card slot is $59.00 (regularly $69.00.

The Straight Talk CDMA Samsung R355C QWERTY Candybar Phone is marked down from $128.00 to $74.00. It has a music player, 1.3 MP camera, memory card slot and a 2.2 inch 220x176 px screen.

The basic Common Cents Mobile LG 101 bar phone is $7.77 this week (regular price is $19.77). It has 1.5 inch 128x128 px screen and comes with the excellent Opera Mini web browser installed.

The NET10 Samsung T401G GSM Phone, a QWERTY slider with a 1.3 megapixel camera, 2.1 inch, 176x220px  screen, video recorder, Bluetooth, music player and Mobile web is $59.88 (Was $79.88)

A Virgin Mobile Broadband2Go Prepaid 3G USB Adapter which lets you surf the Web wirelessly with your laptop is $78.54 (normally $98.54).

RadioShack.com has:

The Samsung Seek for Boost Mobile is marked down to $119.99 (Reg: $149.99) until 02/12/11. It's a QWERTY slider with a 2.6" QVGA touch screen, 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and music player. Unfortunately the Seek is not a 3G phone. In my book BestBuy's 3G Sanyo Incognito is a better phone and a better buy at $79.99

The AT&T GoPhone Samsung A107 (also on sale at Walmart above) basic flip phone with a 2" 128x138px internal display and a browser but no external display. It's $14.99 (regular price $19.88) at the Shack (11 cents more than Walmart's price) but the Shack throws in free shipping.
