Virgin Mobile held a one day 30% off sale on its first and only LTE phone, the Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE. If you missed it the first time around Virgin is doing it tomorrow.
As before the sale is for one day only. It started at 7AM EDT today, Tuesday May 7th, 2013 and will end at 7AM EDT tomorrow May 8.
The sale price is $174.99, 30% off the phone's regular $249.99 price.
The Galaxy Victory is equipped with a 4 inch 800 x 480 px WVGA screen, 5.0 Megapixel camera with auto focus, LED flash, dedicated camera button and 720p video recording, there's a 1.3 Megapixel front facing camera for video calls and a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor. The OS is Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
4G LTE high speed data is available in 88 markets currently including Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, Memphis, Kansas City and Baltimore and is expected to cover 200 markets with over 200 million people by year end.
The Galaxy Victory can be used on any of Virgin's Beyond Talk plans, which start at $35/month for unlimited LTE or 3G data (throttled to "3G speeds" after 2.5 GB) , unlimited text and picture messaging and 300 voice minutes.
I expect the Galaxy Victory to sell out quickly at the $174.99 price so if you want this phone be sure to check the Galaxy Victory page on the Virgin Mobile site tomorrow morning and order the phone ASAP.
Update May-8-2013: The 30% off sale is over but the Samsung Galaxy Victory is still on sale. The new sale price is $199.99 "while supplies last".
