AT&T business reseller Harbor Mobile is running a limited time promotion that cuts plan prices by $3 to $5 per month. The following plans are included in the promotion:
- $22 (reg $25) per month: unlimited talk, text and 1 GB of unthrottled LTE data
- $27 (reg $30) per month: unlimited talk, text and 2.5 GB of unthrottled LTE data
- $35 (reg $40) per month: unlimited talk, text and 4.5 GB of unthrottled LTE data
- $27month 5 GB tablet mobile broadband
- $50/month: unlimited talk, text and 10 GB of unthrottled LTE data
New customers who sign up during the promo get to keep the sale prices as long as they stay on the same plan. A Prepaid Phone News reader and Harbor Mobile customer who signed up shortly before the promotion began was able get the sale pricing by calling Harbor.
Harbor's plans are basically AT&T postpaid plans at prepaid prices. However they are only available to businesses and self employed individuals. According to Harbor's site the following documentation is required:
- If you have an incorporated business or LLC, you only need to submit your EIN provided you EIN matches your business name or DBA.
- If you are self employed, a sole proprietor or a contractor with an EIN you need to submit your EIN along with a copy of letter you received confirming that your EIN was issued.
- If you are self employed, a sole proprietor or a contractor without an EIN you need to submit a copy of a document confirming the name of your business such as a business license, permit, DBA form, business registration, sale or use tax form or a screenshot of an online business listing or website.
If you qualify, Harbor seems like a great deal if you need full AT&T coverage with roaming. As to when the current promotion will end, Harbor isn't saying. The Harbor site doesn't even identify these prices as being promotional but Harbor posted on Facebook "For a limited time only: Lock in our new low rates before they're gone. Get AT&T for $22/mo with UNLIMITED everything and 1GB of 4G LTE. Your rate will last, but this offer won't!"

Do Harbor Mobile charge sale tax?
ReplyDeleteYes, $3 per line. They're in NJ, I'm VA.
DeleteI have been trying to get service with them for 3 days and they still have not verified my business. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteSoounds typical of a company that is either inundated with new subscribers or is just lazy.
DeleteThe typical response I've been getting from them is about 2 to 8 hours, by email (I don't bother calling them). I submitted my business info the night before and was verified the next day. Activation times were similar. Porting 2 lines went smoothly with no issues.
DeleteThese are not my primary lines, btw.

DeleteTheir website was broken most of last year. A situation of amateurishness that should be a warning against anyone willing to risk anything with them.
This should be $50, not $55/month: unlimited talk, text and 10 GB of unthrottled LTE data.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, thanks. The post has been corrected.
DeleteOne slip-up might cost you your best/largest client/customer. You always get what you pay for.
ReplyDeleteHabor Mobile has added some new data plans. 2gb for $18.00 and 10GB for $40. Good prices for AT&T network
ReplyDeleteis the data hard capped or do you still have a slow data for emails?
ReplyDeleteHarbor data is hard capped.
DeleteThanks still sounds like a fairly good deal for unthrottled on AT&T even if you upgrade the data plan & especially if you have multiple phones/lines handy :)
