Apple Releases iOS 11.0.1 to Fix Bugs on Last Week's Update

iOS 11.0.1 fix
Just a week after Apple released iOS 11 to the public, the fresh update was met with heavy criticism. Those who were able to update their device to the latest iOS update complained of fast-draining battery life, getting stuck on apps, and even random shutoffs. Among the problems that users experienced include with using Apple Pay, iMessage, and Touch ID. Not to mention, a hard reset was needed on apps like Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, Snapchat, and many more.

Thankfully, Apple has released iOS 11.0.1 as a way to fix the issues found on last week's iOS release. With today's release, Apple claims that iOS 11.0.1 includes "bug fixes and improvements" for affected devices.

Although it's unclear which bugs have been specifically addressed by Apple, it's likely that it has addressed the issues that users have since been complaining about. Some iPhone users who have already upgraded to iOS 11.0.1 say that it looks like Apple has included a fix to the battery life issue.

If you are experiencing these bugs on your phone, you can download the latest iOS upgrade by going to Settings > General > Software Update. This will start downloading iOS 11.0.1 on your device.

Have you downloaded iOS 11.0.1? Did it get rid of the issues and bugs on iOS 11? Let us know in a comment below!

That's the problem with investing too much power in too few hands.

Once the power changes hands, those new hands can just go and toss everything into the trash.

Apple never should've let its entire business become dependent on a singular mortal icon, with the only fallback being a bunch of know nothing money movers and paper pushers.

This is the OS the iSheeple's cult of personality has brought us.

Not that I care, since I'm a droid life kinda guy.

  2. The new update provides an advanced keyboard that forces the user to switch between letters and numbers by sliding down on a letter to get to a number. Example to get to a @ symbol the user has to press on the a letter key and slide down and release for the @
