Last week, Boom Mobile offered a promo bundle that offered the Moto E4 and six months of service for $199.99. The promotion was originally slated to expire on Cyber Monday, November 27 at 11:59 PM CT. But according to today's announcement, the MVNO will be extending this promotion until the year's end, December 31, 2017.

Moto E4

The Moto E4 is a smartphone with a 5-inch display with 720p resolution. Powering it from within is a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425/427 processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for up to 128GB memory expansion. From behind, the phone has an 8-megapixel main camera with a secondary 5-megapixel camera in front. It supports GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, TDD and FDD networks, plus makes use of Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Wi-Fi hotspot, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, and GPS connectivity. Upon release, the device runs on Android Nougat 7.1 OS. It has a removable 2,800 mAh battery that comes with a fast-charger. Some models include a water repellent coating and fingerprint scanner.

Plan Bundle

Since Boom Mobile runs on different networks, you can choose which one you would like to use your new Moto E4 with. If you opt for boom! RED service (Verizon), the promotion includes four months of service. If you go with boom! YELLOW service (Sprint), you can get six months of service. The service includes unlimited talk and text and 5GB of 4G LTE data. Under Verizon's network, the offer includes uncapped data speed. Either option will cost $199.99, inclusive of the phone's price. Considering the regular price of this bundle would be around $370, you get to save around $170 with this offer.

Now that the offer has been extended, you have a chance to get the Moto E4 with service bundle for $199.99. To learn more this offer, visit Boom! Mobile's website.

    1. Someone who has decent Sprint coverage (as I do) & could use the extra two months of not paying for service, presumably.

  2. This is a $40 burner on a $40/5GB plan.

Or you could save $10 and get the $50 Luna Pro for Total's $35/6Gb Walmart plan.

To be honest, I'd go with the latter.

On-screen buttons are the absolute worst unless your phone is bezel-free, which the Moto E4 isn't.

There's honestly no reason to have buttonless bezels, and at least Samsung and ZTE understand that fact.

Anyway, both the phone and the plan aren't really worth it.

    1. The unlocked, retail Moto E4 is regularly priced at $130.

There is an option to use the fingerprint scanner as a navigation button and the on-screen buttons are removed, so you can use the full screen. All the recent Moto phones with fingerprint scanners have this capability.
