Another name to add to that list is MVNO ROK Mobile, who recently launched a new promo rate plan worth checking out. According to the announcement, the promotional plan comes with three months of unlimited service for just $99. Once the three-month period is over, the plan goes back to its normal rate, which is $45 per month. This means you get to save $36 instead of paying $135 for three months of service.

ROK Mobile is an MVNO that operates under AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon's network. When you sign up for ROK Mobile, you're free to choose the carrier you wish to use. You can also opt to use your own device.

It's important to note, however, that the $99 promotion is only available to new customers choosing service on either Sprint or Verizon. If you decide to go with Sprint, you will be eligible for a free ZTE Prestige smartphone.

This device comes with a 5-inch screen, 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. a 1.1GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage with microSD card expansion up to 64GB. It includes a 2,300mAh replaceable battery. Upon release, this phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

  2. maybe i'm missing something, but $33/month doesn't seem too "hot" with prices today. pretty average deal, at best.

    1. Well, if it's truly unlimited then it's a good deal - especially for Verizon service. I doubt that's the case, however. Nonetheless, it's still a pretty good price for Verizon depending upon the throttle thresholds (both speed limit & amount).
