In addition to increasing data allotment, the MVNO has also included unlimited free calls on another plan. This is on top of the unlimited talk and text, 100 MB of data at 4G LTE, and unlimited talk and text to 60+ countries that the plan originally offers.

Another announcement made by the MVNO is that new customers who sign up for the $35 plan will be able to enjoy three months of service for the price of just two months. In addition to this, new customers who sign up for the $50 unlimited data plan can get a free month of service when they pay for three months of service in advance. 1. Just bear in mind that Lyca never grandfathers ANY of their plans, so you really don't know how long the good stuff will last.

  2. lyca had the switch to the $29 4GB plan for a little while now already. have been on that for a month. lyca probably just wants to announce to the world their recent "new" stuff they have.

  3. It's great if you like dead spots.

Personally, I want at least a 5mbps connection wherever I go.

    1. "It's great if you like dead spots."

I love dead spots, that's why I rely on Sprint to fulfill my need for electronic disconnect.

  4. Please stop using this "treat" terminology.
You still insist on making every story an ad.

    1. I think that is often the case, and I have commented on "ad copy" posts here.

But sometimes it is spot-on: Lots more data for existing customers and no drawbacks or cost listed does indeed seem like a "treat".

    1. I get the idea you would not have made this comment if this Lycamobile story called this news an "outrage" or a "scam" instead of a "treat"....
