AT&T Rumored to Launch "Most Affordable iPhone Deal" Any Day Now

Good news! If you've been hoping to get an affordable prepaid iPhone plan, there are reports that AT&T may be announcing something that's right for you.

There are circulating rumors that AT&T is on the verge of offering two new iPhone deals under their $45/month prepaid plans. As reported by 9to5Mac, AT&T will be offering the iPhone 6s with 32GB of storage for $344.99 and the iPhone 6s Plus with 32GB of storage for $444.99. Since the deal includes the first month of service under a $45 plan, the price of these devices goes down to just $300 (iPhone 6s) and $400 (iPhone 6s Plus).

If these prices prove to be true, we could be looking at the most affordable iPhone deal of the year. As a comparison, T-Mobile and Virgin Mobile charges $450 and $550 for the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus. AT&T's deal lets you save up to $150.

Since this report has not yet been confirmed by AT&T, we still have to wait until it becomes official. But as of this writing, the two prepaid iPhones offered by the company include the iPhone 6 and iPhone SE, which are both sold at $244.99 and $191.94, respectively. These two don't come with a free month of service so an additional $45 monthly plan purchase is required.

The original source of the report claims the deal will rollout "today." The report, however, was published over the weekend and so far, there has not been any announcement made by the carrier. But we're still hopeful AT&T will make this deal official real soon.

  6. iPhone SE has almost the same specs as iPHONE 6S. you can find iphone se anywhere from $150 to all the way down to $49 on metro pcs with port in.

  7. Still over priced... iPhone SE Spec is exactly same as iPhone 6S and selling around $129~$199. iPhone 6S price could be lower.

  9. Glad to see the "subsidy" game is still running strong. This is why ATT/Cricket is overpriced trash. Throttled service and still full price plans.

    1. What does Cricket's high throttle level prevent you from doing? I expect crickets instead of an actual answer.

Besides, Cricket's throttled speed is far faster than the zero-speed that Sprint and Boost give you in most of the US. And even faster than much of the US on MetroPCS (with Cricket's network still being 30% better)

So when you look at the facts, Cricket is only "trash" compared to AT&T postpaid, or anything on Verizon. Which narrows things down quite a bit.

    2. "So when you look at the facts,..."

T-Mobile network on Red Pocket or Mint Sim is much preferable to cricket trash. Especially as their customer-no-service is approaching TracFone levels.

  10. The "most affordable" phone is the model that the most people prove they can afford by buying it. So which is it now? IPhone 7 or Samsung S8?

  11. Looks like the offer is live now.Total price is $344.99 as stated with a $45.00 account credit upon activation. So no way to resell an airtime card.
