Net10 Wireless Offering Free Smartphone with Plan Activation

If you're looking to get a new Android smartphone, Net10's new promotion may be something fitting for you to consider.

The TracFone subsidiary is currently offering free smartphones with the activation of a no-contract plan. You can choose from one of the six different devices they are offering, which includes the following models:


  • Alcatel Pixi Eclipse (reconditioned) 
  • Alcatel POP Icon
  • Alcatel POP Star 2 LTE (reconditioned)
  • Huawei Glory (reconditioned)
  • ZTE Atrium (reconditioned)
  • ZTE Unico LTE (reconditioned)

In order to get the free smartphone, you have to activate one of Net10's plans. You can choose from one of the following: 

  • $35/month plan - Comes with unlimited talk, text, and 2GB high speed data ($31.50 with Auto-Refill)
  • $40/month plan - Comes with unlimited talk, text, and 4GB high speed data ($36 with Auto-Refill)
  • $50/month plan - Comes with unlimited talk, text, and 8GB high speed data ($45 with Auto-Refill)
  • $60/month plan - Comes with unlimited talk, text, and 10GB high speed data 
  • $65/month international plan - Comes with unlimited talk, text, 8GB high speed data, and international calling ($60 with Auto-Refill)

  2. If I would get a plan and cancel it just to get a phone is that allowed, and if so what would be the best phone to get, and what is net10s unlocking polices.

  6. If you go for this plan, don't take the ZTE Unico. Its Android OS is years out of date (4.0). And it won't work if you are outside a short distance from home!

  7. Is Straight Talk taking over Net10?

    I have been a Net10 customer for a few years now. Today I received the following email from ST:
