Republic Wireless is Offering 3 Months of Free Service to New Lines

Republic-Wireless-3-Months-Free
Republic Wireless is giving you more ways on how to better control your time and money. How do they plan to do this? By offering customers three months of unlimited talk and messaging with 2 GB of data per month for  free.

If you decide to activate a new line of service with the Sprint and T-Mobile MVNO, you can be entitled to the three-month free service. Interested? Here's what you have to do:

Step One: Phone Compatibility

Do you have a phone already? If yes, you may be able to bring it to Republic. The first thing you need to do is check whether or not it is compatible with the MVNO. You can click here if you like.

All that's left for you to do is order a free Republic Wireless SIM kit. Remember to choose UPS Mail Innovations as your shipping method so you can get free shipping. You need to order the SIM card before January 23, 2018.

Another option is to get a new phone from Republic. You can check out their website for an Android phone you may be interested in. Once you've picked out the right phone, it will also be shipped to your address for free. Just remember to pick UPS Residential Ground as the shipping method of your choice. Again, the order must be made before January 23, 2018.

Step Two: Activation

So once you've received your SIM card, the next thing you need to do is to have it activated with a phone line. You'll need to do this before February 7, 2018 so you can get your free three months of service. The free offer includes unlimited talk and text plus 2GB of cell data. This, however, does not yet include taxes and telecom fees.

Step Three: Enjoy Your Plan

The  offer includes three months on Republic's My Choice Plan with 2 GB of data per month for free. After your three free months, you can continue with Republic for $15/month for unlimited talk and messaging, plus $5 per GB for data.

The offer is available for a limited time only and while supplies last. A new service line must be activated on or before 3 a.m. ET on February 8, 2018, which means it is not available for existing service lines. A valid Republic Wireless service plan must be selected.

Although you have until February 8 to activate service, the terms and conditions on Republic Wireless' announcement says that the free three months of Republic Wireless service is only available for phones or SIM cards purchased between January 17, 2018 and January 24, 2018.

If you're interested in this plan, please contact Republic to clarify any questions you may have.

  1. This is rather confusing..."comes with 2GB of data". Then you say we have to add data for $5 per GB. So does the plan have data included or not? Is the $5/gb anything above 2Gb???

    1. It's confusing because that's how the above author writes. Go directly to Republic's website--it's less confusing!

    2. The promotion is three months of unlimited voice and messaging with 2 GB/month for free. Republic's regular price is $15/month for unlimited talk and messaging, no data. Data can be added for $5 per MB per month.

    1. That's crazy. Why can't these providers stop limiting what phones I use with what? (Virgin Mobile IC is iPhone only, this one is "approved phones only") If I have a phone that operates on sprinttmo, let me use it on this! Gosh...

    2. Why should they allow iPhones? They would have to build another app. Maybe they can't get deep access to Apple services to make their system work.
Virgin IC is an experiment to see if they can create a sense of belonging, a club experience that builds loyalty with one simple plan and extra benefits like data roaming and wine discounts. It has worked for a couple of European carriers. iPhones owners already belong to a kind of club. It makes sense.

    3. "Why should they allow iPhones?"

To nearly double their customer base, that's why. Think about it, pallie.

  7. Where o' where has my $5/mo unlimited/unlimited WiFi plan gone?

  8. Unfortunately they allow a very limited amount of phones on their network. Mostly newer Samsung, Google, and Motorola phones. None of my phones are eligible.
