Page Plus Cellular $29.95 Plan Now Comes With Double Data and Unlimited Talk

Page Plus Cellular, an MVNO running under Verizon's network, has recently announced some changes to its prepaid plan options. Based on its announcement, the $29.95 plan now comes with unlimited talk and increased data.

So instead of the original 1GB of high speed data, the plan now comes with 2GB. Once this high speed data allotment has been used up, the data will be reduced to throttled speeds. The plan now also comes with unlimited talk instead of the original 1500 minutes.

Today's announcement comes as a surprise since the MVNO made big changes to its plans a little over a month ago. During such time, the other plans were affected by the change except for the $29.95 plan. Now it looks like Page Plus Cellular has made necessary changes to this plan.

Combining this with the different plan options, Page Plus Cellular now offers the following plans:

  • $12 plan - includes 500 minutes, 500 texts and 100 MB of 4G LTE data
  • $29.95 plan - includes unlimited talk, text, and 2GB of 4G LTE data, unlimited international texting, and $10 per month international calling credit
  • $39.95 plan - includes unlimited talk, text and 5GB of 4G LTE data, unlimited international texting, and $10 per month international calling credit
  • $55 plan - includes unlimited talk, text, and 4G LTE data, unlimited international texting, and $10 per month international calling credit.

Once the allotted high-speed data has been used up, the data is throttled to 2G or around 64Kbps until the next cycle starts. The prices above do not include taxes and fees.

    1. Would've been okay if prices included taxes and fees.

  2. Giving 2GB to the customer is ok. but Tracfone is very good at taking money away from the dealers. Half ass support and from Tracfone team. pin discount keep going lower and lower is not how we can make a living. from 15% to 12% to 10% to %5?? are you kidding me. people you need to go to Verizon and make more money!!! way more!!

  3. Boom! red offers the same UT&T plus 2GB of data for the same price. Factor in customer service and Boom! is the undisputed winner of this head-to-head battle.

  4. Two thinga I've liked about PagePlus are (1) the VZW network, and (2) the ability to roam for extra cost. Boom Red takes care of #1, but -- serious question, because I don't know -- does Boom offer any kind of roaming capability? Or is it just like most MVNOs where you can't roam at all, period. (Or, am I wrong about PP -- PP still =does= offer extra cost roaming, doesn't it?)

  5. Would love to but how do dealers go to Verizon to make more money? Verizon doesn’t have a prepaid exclusive program yet or the newest handsets for dealers or even a prepaid dealer portal.

    1. Rick, does vidapay offer an exclusive program (brand entire store inside and out) or non exclusive? And are the phones new like at Verizon store or Walmart like J7 at comparable prices or refurbished older models?
