Selectel Wireless Increases Data on Its Plans Again

Just a few days ago, Selectel Wireless changed the data allotment on its $40 monthly plan. The Verizon MVNO increased the data on the plan from 4GB to 5GB per month. But it looks like the MVNO has decided to give this plan another data increase, along with the other plans.

Starting today, Selectel's plans now look like this:

  • $15 per month - includes 300 minutes, unlimited texts, 50 MB of high-speed data (3G only)
  • $20 per month - includes 500 minutes, unlimited texts, 50 MB of high-speed data (4G only)
  • $30 per month - includes unlimited minutes, texts, picture messages, and 1GB of high-speed data
  • $40 per month - includes unlimited minutes, texts, picture messages, and 6GB of high-speed data (previously 5GB)
  • $50 per month - includes unlimited minutes, texts, picture messages, and 10GB of high-speed data (previously 7GB)
  • $70 per month - includes unlimited minutes, texts, picture messages, and 15GB of high-speed data (previously 10GB)

Again, once the monthly data allotment has been used up, the speed is reduced to 2G. Selectel's plans include Call Forwarding, Caller ID, Basic Voicemail, and Call Waiting.

  1. Looks like they're trying to keep up with the Verizon Prepaid changes announced earlier that day.

    1. No Truth To That since the only major changes to Verizons PrePaid Lineup is the Verizon $30 is half a gig and Verizons 40 is still 3 gigs
Verizons 80 Unlimited LTE Plan went down to $75.00 a whole whopping 5.00
The Biggest thing for Verizon that was announced way Day Pass for 5.00

  2. I so hate the vague term "2G" - what speed is it? 128kbps can be usable, depending upon application. 64kbps, not so much.

  3. Selectel Wireless has upped their Data on some of their Plans again. Just left one of their corporate stores, I believe the $40 plan now gets 8GB of data.
