Tello Lets You Save 30% on First Three Months of Service

Tello, a Sprint powered MVNO, has just launched a promotion that will help you triple your savings. Earlier today, the MVNO announced the "Triple the discount, triple the savings" promotion. Under this promotion, you can get 30% off on your first three months of service. If you're interested in this promotion, here's what you need to know:

For starters, this promotion is valid only to new customers. Starting February 15th until the 28th, you can get the 30% discount with any Tello plan you opt for. A good thing about Tello is that you are free to custom build your own plan. If this is a little complicated for you, you can also opt for one of the pre-configured plans; such as the following:

  • Economy Plan - comes with 200 minutes, unlimited text, and 500MB of 4G LTE data ($7.50/month for three months instead of $11/month)
  • Value Plan - comes with unlimited talk, text, and 1GB of 4G LTE data ($13.30/month for three months instead of $19/month)
  • Smart Plan - comes with unlimited talk, text, and 3GB of 4G LTE data ($20.30/month for three months instead of $29/month)
  • Data Lover - comes with unlimited talk, text, and 10GB of 4G LTE data ($27.30/month for three months instead of $39/month)

Tello's plans all come with mobile hotspot and calling to Canada, Mexico, and China at no additional charges. Local and state taxes are not yet included.

Once you have already picked out the plan you want to go with, you can create an account. The final step is to complete the checkout process by adding 3XFUN as the coupon code. This will let the 30% discount be automatically applied to your cart upon checkout.

The agreement here is that you do not switch your plan during your first three months of service. You need to stay on the plan that you purchased. Otherwise, you will lose the promo price.

    3. Many MVNOs use Facebook, Twitter, press releases, etc., to announce their existence. Word of mouth also spreads on sites like this, Howard Forums, DSLReports, etc. People read about them, sign up, and share their experiences.

Tello specifically promoted on their news blog near the end of January that they would be announcing new promotions on their Facebook page meaning anyone interested can sign up for notification of their promos.

  2. Thanks Jason, that's probably why I never heard of them. I don't use social media
