Selectel Wireless Offering Free Phone with $50 Monthly Service Plan Purchase

It's always nice to receive something for free. And for Selectel Wireless customers, this is something they will get to experience from their MVNO.

Earlier today, the Verizon-powered MVNO announced that they will be giving away a free smartphone to its customers with the purchase and activation of the $50 monthly plan. If you are a customer, you can get to choose between the LG Vista and the LG K8 V.

LG Vista

The LG Vista is a smartphone with a 5.7-inch HD display with a resolution of 960x540. It runs on a 1.2GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, and has support for up to 128GB microSD memory expansion. The phone comes with an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and laser auto focus. In front, there is a 1.3-megapixel camera. The phone also comes with a 3,200mAh Li-Ion battery and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat upon unboxing.

The other device that Selectel is offering for free is the LG K8 V, another Android smartphone that comes with a 5-inch HD LCD/TFT IPS display. From within, the device runs on a 1.3GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor with 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage with a microSD card slot for up to 128GB memory expansion. The device has an 8-megapixel main camera with a 5-megapixel front-facing sensor. It has a 2,125mAh Li-Ion battery and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow upon unboxing.

Apart from these two devices, Selectel is also offering a discount on other smartphone models:

  • Apple iPhone 6 16GB - $249.99 instead of $299.99
  • Apple iPhone 7 32GB - $485 instead of $599
  • LG Optimus Zone - $49.99 instead of $59.99
  • Samsung Galaxy J3 Eclipse - $169.99 instead of $199.99
  • Samsung Galaxy J7 - $219.99 instead of $299.99
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 - $249.99 instead of $299.99

If you are interested in any of these devices, all you have to do is purchase the $50 monthly service plan and activate it. The plan comes with unlimited talk, text, MMS and 10GB of high-speed data.

Comment Page :
  1. Why is this reading like a postpaid phone plan?

    1. Looks like a paid Advertisement for Selectel Wireless to me. It's nothing great or special as compared to other offerings and the plan prices are high. Selectel no longer offers any advantages over the other (cheaper...) Verizon MVNOs and frankly I'm shocked they are still in business.

    2. Why do you say that?
