Nice! Good competition. Here I found more deals:
ReplyDeleteSister Mobile (Sprint MVNO)
$5 - 200 MIN / 200 TEXT / 0MB for 1 month.
$15 - Unlimited Talk and Text / 200mb for 1 month.
$10 for 1GB
Do they include Verizon roaming for talk/text like Twigby?
DeleteIs the data hardcapped on Sister?
According to the conflicting information on the Sister Mobile website, the plan in question is a promotion that looks like it'll end in less than 100 signups, there's a $5 charge to BYOSP, an additional $2.75 line charge if the account isn't setup on autopay, and prices understandably don't include taxes which are extra. Other than the two plans and the 1 GB add-on there's no other plans listed.
DeleteAbsolutely unattractive, and that’s before the deal killer: Sprint.
ReplyDeleteWhat plans get the unlimited 2G? Any with LTE data added on?
ReplyDeleteAll Twigby data plans include unlimited 2G speed data after the high speed data allotment is used up.
DeleteAll data plans include data at up to LTE speeds on the high speed portion.
Just wondering can you get data only or u got get voice minutes too on plan
DeleteYes, you can have a data plan without a voice plan with Twigby.
DeleteThe one benefit of Twigby over Tello is voice roaming. Otherwise Tello is cheaper when comparing regular rates.
ReplyDeleteYes. And Tello has excellent customer support when you need it. Better than the big boys. That's how you build loyalty in this dog eat dog market.
DeleteDoes Twigby roam?
ReplyDeleteYes, Voice and text roaming only, no data roaming.
DeleteTwigby voice roaming on Verizon.
ReplyDeleteThe other benefit of Twigby over Tello is tech-oriented customer service. Tello is very good with basic CS-- but Twigby is probably second only to Ting in the Sprint MVNO world for real technical solutions. Throw in VZW roaming, at a price only slightly higher than Tello, and it's an attractive package.
ReplyDeleteSpeedTalk $9 plan gives you 500talk, 500mb & unlimited text on T-Mobile, a much better network then sprint. easy BYOD!
ReplyDeleteSpeedTalk can't compete with Twigby for customer service or voice and text coverage. They are definitely third-rate.
DeleteI've never had issues with SpeedTalk but I guess if you need to call customer service frequently then your getting bad service!
Delete@Orangemetal and @Dennis,
ReplyDeleteYes, all data plans include unlimited 2G after you use up all your LTE high-speed (or voluntarily throttled) data, but only if you select the optional, no-extra-cost Overage Protection. If you don't have Overage Protection on, you will be charged for the next higher tier of data and the high-speed LTE will continue without interruption. And, if you do happen to go over during your billing period, your plan will automatically revert to what you had before for the next month, which is another user-friendly feature of Twigby.
Sprint MVNOs can't compete with T-Mobile MVNOs and its not even close. Sprint MVNOs are limited with their BYOD, Coverage and service. I know from experience since I run one of the more successful sprint MVNOs!
ReplyDeleteSince this one roams on Verizon for voice it works WAY better for me than an MVNO that is t-mo native only. I tried T-mo recently & where I go it is 0 signal or roaming on At&t, a t-mo native only MVNO is 0 signal all day, all over the area. Twigby roams on Verizon in the area.
