Huawei's Latest Promotion Lets You Buy the Honor 7X for Only $1

Despite a wide variety of smartphone models to choose from, only a few handful manage to gain the attention of the public. Especially in a time where smartphones can virtually do just about anything, it's important to pick out a device that manages to fit the bill.

For Huawei fans, the spotlight shines on a number of its devices. One of which, the Honor 7X, comes with remarkable specs such as facial recognition, split screen, dual-lens camera, and a large 3340mAh battery.

With features like these, it would perfect sense to assume that this will be one costly device. As a matter of fact, the Honor 7X originally costs $199.99. But for a limited time period, you can get this flagship device for only (get this) $1!

This is because Huawei is running a sale on a few of the popular Android smartphones it has released in the last couple of years. The promotion, called "Honor World Carnival", runs from April 1st until April 8th. Here you can buy the Honor 7X for only $1, or these other devices:

  • Honor View 10 - $469 (instead of $499)
  • Honor 6X - $149.99 (instead of $199.99)
  • Honor Band 3 - $39 (instead of $59)
  • Bluetooth Earphone - $39.99 (instead of $49.99)
  • Wired Earphone - $9.99 with free shipping

Huawei has adapted the "flash sale" model for the Honor 7X. This means that the $1 sale price of the device will only be available between April 6th-8th at 10:00-12:00 am PST. If you miss this window, the price of the Honor 7X goes back to $199.99 but you'll get a pair of earphones for free.

If the Honor 7X is a device you've had your eye on for quite some time, the $1 promotion is definitely a deal you shouldn't miss. Make sure to mark your calendar for that sale!

    1. I guess their inventory is excessive due the ATT and Best Buy decisions not sell Huawei phones, and all spyware/ backdoor comments.

  5. Not sure if April Fools, but it's still not compatible with the extra capacity bands needed for good data coverage in populated areas.

Without that kind of future proofing, it's really worth less than nothing.

  7. "...only be available between April 6th-8th at 10:00-12:00 am"
So, a 22hr. window for 3 phones or is that "am" a typo that should be "pm"?

  8. This is like winning a lottery, no way we will get 1 of the three. Good luck!

  9. Huawei $1 phone deal too good to be true. Browser froze and sold out in 30 seconds. What a waste of time.

  10. Why even give them a free ad by mentioning it?

    1. Exactly! If this is how they run their promotions, its no wonder the government would prefer them not selling here.

  11. Does the sale run from 10AM to noon or 10PM to midnight?

    ReplyDelete
  12. 12 AM is midnight. But it doesn't really matter because the 3 free phones are gone within seconds after they go on sale at 10 AM.

    1. Well then please correct the typo "am" to PM in the piece. Anon April 6, 2018 at 6:11 AM also nrougt the time issue/question up.

    2. There's no typo. The Honor site says the flash sale ends 4/8 at 12 AM, which is midnight. As I said above, the $1 phones will be sold out before 10:01 AM all three days so whether the sale ends at noon or midnight is irrelevant.
