The LG Fortune 2 is Now Available on Cricket Wireless for $99.99

Something stylish has just landed on Cricket Wireless!

Earlier today, the AT&T prepaid brand announced the availability of the new LG Fortune 2, a stylish smartphone with premium features without the expensive price tag. Starting today, you can get your hands on this device at select Cricket Wireless retail stores and online for a price of $99.99 if you join Cricket or upgrade.

The LG Fortune 2 comes with a 5-inch HD display. From within, the phone is powered by a 1.4GHz Quad-Core processor with 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for up to 32GB expandable storage. It can take pictures via the 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with flash and HD video. In front, a 5 megapixel camera is available to take selfies and video calls. The phon also comes with a 2500mAh battery, M3/T3 hearing aid compatibility, and runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box.

Some of the features available on the LG Fortune 2 include Quick Video Editor, which allows you to add effects, a soundtrack or edit your videos; Smart Cleaning, so you can quickly get rid of old files from your phone; App Shortcuts, to conveniently access the tasks you commonly use; and Knock On, allowing you to access notifications quicker with just a gentle tap on your screen.

The $99.99 price on the phone is available once you pair it with a qualifying plan such as the 2GB ($30 per month), 5GB ($40 per month), Unlimited 2 ($55 per month), or Unlimited ($60 per month) rate plans. If you opt to upgrade, you will be charged with a $25 upgrade fee.

  2. 16gb of storage isn't a premium feature.

    1. Nowhere does the article state what those premium features are or either the quantity of them. How you deduced 16 Gb of storage is one of those premiums mentioned is beyond me.


    2. A phone either has premium features or it doesn't.

      This one doesn't.

  3. LG phones have far less bloatware on them than Samsung phones and move much quicker on entry and mid-level models. I dropped an S5 for a Phoenix 2 and it runs way quicker and battery goes all day. The RAM and processor downgrade is unnoticeable. But, yes, there is nothing premium about the Fortune 2. Carry on...
