Tello Giving 50% Off To New And Existing Customers

tello-2nd-year-anniversary
On May 5th, Tello will be celebrating its second year of service! To highlight this milestone, the Sprint MVNO has announced a few special offers for both its new and existing customers.

New Customers

For a limited time, new customers can get 50% off for the first two months of service.

In order to be eligible for this offer, you need to subscribe to Tello's $10/month plan or higher. You also need to keep the same plan for at least two months so you can keep the discount. If you are interested in this offer, you need to place your order between May 3-17, 2018.

Existing Customers

Tello's existing customers also have a 50% offer of their own. Under this offer, you can get 50% off on selected plans.

There isn't much information about this right now except that it is an exclusive, coupon-based offer. This means you need to be subscribed to Tello's newsletter so you can get your coupon in your email.

In addition to the 50% discount Tello is offering to its new and existing customers, Tello also has a couple of anniversary giveaways:

Update: a few more details regarding the 50% off promo for existing customers, if that helps. It is valid for one month only, and it applies to the following plans:

  • $29 plan, which comes with 4 GB, Unlimited min & text, with coupon TELLO2NDBDAY29

    2. Then keep paying a premium.

I'm not a fan of Sprint, but their network has incredibly improved, at least in my city, and so you need to give it a try.

I have a Moto G, I got for $39, new, and on Tello for $11/mo.

Nobody I know has anything close to that.

    3. I got mom a Moto G5 Plus 64gb (4gb RAM) for $200 & put her on Sprint postpaid BYOD free year (actually 13.5 months). Unlimited talk, text, data, 10gb hotspot, roaming on VZW. $4/mo. for fees & taxes. No brainer if you're OK with Sprint, need/use more than the meager allotment $11 gets you @ Tello & can pass the hard pull credit check.

What are the min. / msg. / data allotments for that $11?
Tell adds taxes / fees, what is the monthly cost of that $11 plan after taxes?

Re: Anon May 4 at 5:28,

Tello uses the 'build your own plan' model; $11 buys 4 combinations of minutes and data while 13 price points are less than $11. They also offer a very inexpensive Pay-as-you-go option that costs $10 to start and doesn't expire as long as there's a "billable event" (making a call, sending a text, data use) every three months.

All federal, state, and local taxes and fees applicable to your area are charged. IIRC, the signup process gives you a quote before actually ordering the service. For my use, it's still far less expensive than plans and services where taxes are included.
