Mint Mobile's Starter Kit Goes On Sale for Amazon Prime Day

Prime Day is an annual global shopping event hosted by Amazon that many shoppers look forward to every year. In fact, it has been regarded as a major retail sales holiday that should not be missed.

This year, there was no big announcement on when Prime Day would be until a banner ad was leaked. It showed that the much awaited day would take place today, Monday, July 16 at noon. And by now, you might have already browsed through the different items available under the sale. One of the products we're interested in, however, is Mint Mobile's starter kit.

The Ultra Mobile-owned MVNO offers a starter kit that can exclusively be purchased via Amazon. It is regularly priced at $5 and includes 2 SIM cards and a 7-day free trial with 100 minutes, 100 text messages, and 100MB of 4G LTE data.

The reason behind the 2 SIM cards is that you no longer have to port your number over when you try out the service. The T-Mobile MVNO will provide you a new number to use with a SIM card during the trial period. If you are unhappy with the service, you can use the other SIM card to port over your number.

For a limited time period, you can get this starter kit for 1¢ (plus shipping). This discounted starter kit is only available to the first 5,000 customers. If you miss out on this Prime Day deal, you can get a $5 refund for the trial kit if you decide to port in. You can then choose to use this refund to a plan of your choice.

This Mint Mobile Prime Day Deal is available from Monday, July 16th at 12 PM PST and will end on Tuesday, July 17th at 11:59 PM PST. You can check out this deal on Amazon's website.
