Boost Mobile Has a New $80 Unlimited Data Plan, Offering Free LG Stylo 3, iPhone 6 for $29.99

boost-mobile-new-promotion-august-2018
Back in March, Boost Mobile offered the iPhone 6 for $49.99 and announced other offers to go with it. Continuing in this tradition, the Sprint prepaid brand has unveiled new in-store promotions that allow switchers to get the iPhone 6 for only $29.99. There's also a free LG Stylo 3 available when you switch. You can check out all these in-store offers here:

Apple iPhone 6 for $29.99

The first promotion announced by the prepaid brand is the iPhone 6 for $29.99. With this promotion, you can get the iPhone 6 32GB variant and save $400 when you switch to the prepaid brand. You will have to activate service on the $50 or $60 plan.

The promotion is said to run until August 13, 2018. But considering the last $49.99 iPhone 6 promotion got extended, this could be a similar case.

Free LG Stylo 3

If you're more of an Android fan, Boost Mobile is offering a free LG Stylo 3 for switchers. This promotion is available for those who switch and activate service under the $50 or $60 plan before October 1, 2018.

The promotion is not entirely free, however, since it excludes taxes. But this still lets you save $179.

Add a Line, First Month Free

For new primary line activations under the $50 plan, you can get your first month of service free. This is available in select markets at participating dealers. For each additional line, credit available is $30 and applied in-store at the time of activation.

This promotion is available until August 31, 2018.

Bring Your Phone, Free Month On Us

If you opt to keep your phone when you switch to Boost Mobile, you can still enjoy a free month of service. You simply have to activate service under Boost Mobile's $50 plan so you can get your free month of service.

An initial payment of $50 is required at the time of activation. For Single lines, the credit will be applied within one week of monthly recurring payment date. For Family Plans, the credit will be applied to the primary account within 10 to 14 days after activation.

This promotion ends on August 31, 2018.

Don't forget, Boost Mobile's 4 Lines for $30 Each Promotion and 3 Lines for $100 Promotion is still ongoing as well. They will both end on August 31, 2018.

New $80 Ultimate Unlimited Plan

Boost Mobile has also unveiled a new $80 Ultimate Unlimited Plan, which will be available for a limited time only. The plan comes unlimited everything, up to 1080p video streaming, 1.5Mbps music, and 8Mbps gaming. There is a total of 40GB of 4G LTE mobile hotspot available before it gets throttled to 2G data speeds. Other features available include the following:

  • Unlimited landline calling to over 70 countries
  • 200 mobile minutes to over 50 countries
  • Unlimited international texting
  • Tidal premium subscription
  • Priority Customer Care with "Elite Live Agent"
Additional lines of service may be added to this plan for $60 per month. It includes the same 35GB data prioritization policy, which is available on the other unlimited plans offered by Boost Mobile.

This new plan is available until August 31, 2018.

  1. $80 on the Sprint network when Verizon prepaid is $75.. yeah.. I know it's not one for one the same but really? $30 above their regular unlimited plan? What fool is gonna bite. Niche market product for sure. Don't charge Verizon/Att prices when you don't have Att/Verizon network. Sprint still doesn't get it. I so hope Tmobile eats them up with Federal approval. Sick of their sheer stupidity.

    1. SELLING THE PHONE NOT THE SERVICE

    2. How is this competitive at all. Maybe if it was $40.

  2. I think we can chalk this up to another failure for Sprint. I wouldn't pay that kind of money for a sub-par network.

  3. Will Boost get the Stylo 4?

Which Boost phones support TMO 66 and 71?

If the merger is approved, how soon will their networks merge?

  4. Those "200 mobile minutes to over 50 countries" are a problem.

With so many people across the world using mobile phones instead of landlines, if you do much calling to family or friends in other countries, it's likely to a mobile phone.

Those 200 minutes might run out after a handful of calls.

If you need actual international calling with an MVNO, you're better off with Ultra Mobile, Lyca Mobile, or Simple Mobile, which are unlimited to landlines and mobile in 60 or 70 countries.

  5. I wanted to say welcome to Logan Abbott from the Tello post, but for some reason I couldn't find the comment section. So, welcome Logan. Nice to see PPPN growing :)

    1. Anon 4:17, did that post by Logan Abbott seem like a paid ad to you? Especially because it was entirely positive about Tello, which has its own difficulties, and because commenting was turned off for that post.

  6. Why on earth would anyone pay $80 for Sprint? They should be cutting prices.

    1. Because Sprint is 99% as good as Verizon.
