MetroPCS Rumored to Launch Two Devices on August 31st

Back in July, it was revealed that the Motorola E5 Play was headed to T-Mobile along with the Moto E5 Plus.

Although the announcement was not made official, the support pages for these phones were leaked from the website, prompting users to speculate around this possibility.

Now, it looks like one of those devices may be headed to T-Mobile's prepaid brand, MetroPCS.

According to YouTuber Magic Tech Review, MetroPCS is getting ready to unveil a couple of devices real soon. One of the devices mentioned in the video is the Moto E5 Play. Although details are sparse, the video detailed that the information was shared by a credible source. There is no mention of when this phone will be available but it should be revealed real soon.

The other device that is making its way to MetroPCS is the MetroSMART Ride. It's a weird-looking piece of tech that you can install in your vehicle so you can stay connected. The device is said to help "give peace of mind that your vehicle is safe and you're covered if anything happens while you are on the road."

The MetroSMART Ride device will be making an official debut on Friday, August 31st. Its SRP is $119 but MetroPCS will be offering it at $79, after a $30 instant rebate.
