Verizon Prepaid's Double Data for Life Promotion is Back

A few months ago, Verizon Prepaid ran a promotion called "Double Data for Life." This promotion gave customers a chance to enjoy double data for life if they sign up for their plan through a participating dealer. When that didn't work, Verizon decided to offer the promotion directly to its customers. Unfortunately, the promotion was only available for a limited time.

Earlier today, however, BestMVNO reported that Verizon Prepaid has brought back this promotion. But instead of offering this directly to its customers, the prepaid brand decided to stick with its VIDAPAY dealers.

If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, you can purchase a plan from a participating dealer through VIDAPAY's platform.

Verizon Prepaid's Double Data for Life Promotion

So what is this promotion all about?

Just like its name promises, it will give Verizon Prepaid customers double data for life. The promotion is available to both single lines and family plans. The options include the following:

  • $30/month - includes unlimited talk, text, and 1GB of 4G LTE data (before 0.5 GB)
  • $40/month - includes unlimited talk, text, and 6GB of 4G LTE data (before 3GB)
  • $50/month - includes unlimited talk, text, and 14GB of 4G LTE data (before 7GB)
  • $60/month - includes unlimited talk, text, and 20GB of 4G LTE data (before 10GB) + unlimited talk and text to Mexico and Canada

Apart from unlimited talk and text in the U.S., each plan also offers unlimited texting to over 200 international destinations, carryover data, and mobile hotspot usage. The $60/month plan also includes unlimited talk to Canada and Mexico.

If you sign up for a plan using VIDAPAY, you will get to enjoy double data as long as you remain a customer. There is no specified end date for this promotion. You can look for a Verizon Prepaid dealer on VIDAPAY here

  1. Not that I'd use these (I use Verizon MVNOs), I tried locating a dealer. There are two Verizon dealers within an 80 mile radius of my house (aside from the Walmart and Target 70 miles away, I'm referring to dedicated Verizon stores). I tried both zipcodes on the vidapay site, no result. So, I tried searching the entire state name, no results. I tried a couple neighboring states, nothing. I tried California and New York, that got results. Apparently, some large areas don't have "vidapay" dealers.

  2. Hooray
Verizon is throwing us Boost customers a crumb
Yeah I definitely should port over and let Boost diminish in the merger to be with this carrier
Keep this offer Verizon I prefer the value and customer care of Boost and Sprint
Thanks again SoftBank for causing Verizon to try to go value-centric

  3. What can anyone do with a gig?
Stop being stingy and give 3 gigs for $30
    The profit margin won't plumet
    SMH @ Verizon
    You still don't get it
This is as lame as the exclusive Google Pixel fiasco
    How's that working?
    Profitable huh?

  4. I'm at 30GB right now and only a third of the way through my billing cycle.

Data caps just don't make sense in 2018.

  5. This is actually a killer deal if you know what you're doing. You don't need to go to a dealer. They are on eBay selling heavily discounted SIM activation kits with the double data promotion. Everything is done online. That's how I got my $40 plan with 6 GB of data for $18.
And I buy all my refill cards on eBay at heavily discounted prices. Right now there are several dealers selling $40 refill cards for $25, $26, or $27. And there are no taxes and fees. And if you wait for the once a month eBay 15% off everything coupon code you get an additional 15% off the already heavily discounted refill cards.
Double data promotion plus discounted refill cards on eBay make Verizon prepaid a compelling option to consider.

    1. Ditto. Such an amazing deal! I was on Verizon through Straight Talk (mvno) but they don't pass all the Verizon features, so I ported to Verizon and love it.
