FreeUP Mobile Introduces New Free Plan & $60 Unlimited Data Plan

Early this year, a new MVNO was introduced to the public as an AT&T network operator.

FreeUP Mobile joined the list of MVNOs by offering free wireless service to customers. The free service was obtained by participating in their customer rewards program.

After a few months of being in the market, the MVNO is offering two new plans-- a free one and an unlimited global plan for $60 per month.

Free Plan

FreeUP has introduced a free plan that comes with 500 minutes or text messages paired with 100MB of data using unlimited Wi-Fi from over 4 million hotspots. The free plan simply requires subscribers to pay for the shipping of a SIM card, which is priced at $1.99. After activation, more free minutes, texts and data can be earned using the rewards app.

$60 Unlimited Data Plan

The other plan FreeUP introduced today is an unlimited plan that includes unlimited talk, text, and 12GB of LTE data for $60 per month. The catch here is that it only gets unlimited 2G when the high speed allotment has been used up. Other features included are unlimited global talk and text.

FreeUP Mobile Holiday Sale

Apart from introducing two new plans, FreeUP has announced a holiday sale where they give discounts to phone purchases. You will need to use FreeUP coupon code to get the discounted price. The devices available under this promotion include the following:
  • Alcatel IdealXcite 5.0 LTE - $49
  • LG B470 3G Flip phone - $44
  • Moto G6 Play - $199
  • Nokia 2 - $99

FreeUP Mobile runs on a traditional cellular network powered by AT&T. They do not require using VoIP to make free calls.

  1. Umm how likely is this mvno gonna go bust overnight?

  2. Sounds intriguing and could be worth trying for $2.

  3. The free plan is interesting, but the Unlimited is horrible... Other MVNOs' offer 30GB LTE data with unlimited 2G, for almost the half price!

    1. What mvno offer 30 gb lte for 30 :o?

    2. I get 50gb for $25 per line with tmo one family $100 for 4 lines, all w/ free netfilx and unlimited 3g hotspot

  4. Free should mean free. When you sign up they give a $10 promotional credit making the sim card 'free' but you have to pay $4.95 shipping
