Metro by T-Mobile to Exclusively Carry Alcatel 1x Evolve

Nowadays, there are so many different smartphones available in the market. Most devices come with top-of-the-line specs at exorbitant prices.

Thankfully, there are still a number of smartphone manufacturers that come out with budget-friendly devices with specs that manage to get the job done.

One such device is TCL's Alcatel 1x Evolve. This smartphone comes with a 5.34-inch display and 18:9 aspect ratio. From within, a quad-core MediaTek processor powers the device with 2GB of RAM.

Storage-wise, the 1x Evolve comes with 16GB of on board storage with room to expand the memory via a microSD card.

You can take photos with the 8-megapixel rear-facing camera or the 5-megapixel sensor in front. Interestingly, the phone includes a 3.5mm headphone jack; a feature that most high-end smartphones do not carry anymore.

As for its battery, there is a 2460mAh battery available that provides up to 14 hours of talk time and 397 hours on standby mode. Upon release, the 1x Evolve runs Android Oreo Go Edition.

If you're interested in this device, it will be exclusively carried by Metro by T-Mobile starting December 10th. Although its pricing has not yet been announced, it could be priced below $200.

  1. They're exclusively carrying a piece of junk. Metro is officially on my no-buy list. Their exorbitant fees and shady network of dealers has me moving everyone to Cricket. Tons of people are leaving over their new $15 fee.

    1. That's understandable. Cricket is 30% better than Metro PCS. You'll be able to use your phone a lot more, instead of having the signal be dead.

  2. ...with that absurd “exclusive” $15 (plus tax!) rip-off “fee” to move SIM cards between devices. It is mind boggling that “metro” that is “by T-Mobile” would display such nerve at this juncture of competition and choices.

  3. Metropcs is a bull shit company

  4. Lol. What nasty comnents

  5. Better Alcatel phones at Cricket

  6. Metro is a good company if you're a new customer. Metro shows no love for existing customers so I'm going to go to whichever company offersa free phone. My screen cracked on my LG Stylo 4 amd not from a drop but neither LG nor Metro will help. So, I'll hop over to a different provider fora bit and end up coming back. Simply play the prepaid roulette game.

  7. Metro dropped the 15.00 fee
