T-Mobile Tops Customer Satisfaction Survey of YouGov

Once again, T-Mobile lands on the top spot of a customer satisfaction survey. The results of a recent survey show just how much higher T-Mobile's position is compared to its biggest rival, Verizon.

The new customer satisfaction survey was polled by YouGov, where participants were asked questions that were different from the other polling groups. One of the questions asked was how satisfied participants were with their carriers in 2018. Surprisingly, the difference between T-Mobile's and Verizon's score is higher than the results of 2016 and 2017.

This is most likely because of how T-Mobile has lowered its plans and phone prices. Not to mention, the Un-carrier has been giving out lots of worthwhile freebies like subscriptions to Netflix. These things proved to have far greater value for its customers.

A second question thrown to participants gives T-Mobile a 3-point lead over Verizon with 68 to 65. The question, "Which of the following brands do you think represents good or poor quality?" It's interesting to think that this is the first time T-Mobile received this recognition from its users.

Once T-Mobile and Sprint successfully merge, it's interesting how these numbers could change in the future.

  1. I am a happy long time customer of Metro By T-Mobile. I hope things don't go downhill once the merger goes through, although I fear that they will. I would also be curious about what will become of Boost Mobile.
