Visible Wireless Launching Android Compatibility Soon

visible-wireless-coming-to-android
In May last year, Verizon unveiled its new prepaid service called Visible Wireless. At the time of its launch, the service was available to those with an invite code.

In September, Verizon removed the need for an invite code and allowed anyone to sign up for service.

Despite being available to everyone, the prepaid service continued to be an iOS exclusive service offered by Verizon.  But it looks like this is about to change.

At the start of the year, Visible sent out a tweet announcing that it will be making its service available to Android devices. The tweet shares that a beta for Android compatibility will be rolling out before the month ends.

Once the service becomes available, users can sign up for the service at $40 per month. This comes with unlimited minutes, messaging, data, and mobile hotspot. There is a maximum data speed of 5Mbps and 480p for video streaming.

    3. There is an army of former Slime "customers" (100's of millions) that have been abused & ripped off by trashfone customer disservice circus so any slime owned brand mention will have multiple warnings to try to warn away the unwary.

You on the other hand are a lone voice in the slime defender wilderness. If you are a happy customer time will catch up to you and pain will ensue. If you are not a customer then maybe just a shill.

I am sure I speak for many that visit this site when I say that I wish you would either post some factual informaion instead of just blindly defending a company that has no respect or use for its customers other than their wallets or STFU.

    7. Oh, I'm not defending them as I really don't care one way or another since I'm not intersted in Tracfone or any other mvno. But you're still just ranting and raving which only serves to clutter up the discussion since no on evern metnioned that circus in this discussion until you did.......

    8. Oh, and I'm fairly certain that YOU don't speak for many, if any here since I don't see any support for any of your many 'rage against Carlos Slim' posts. There only responses are posts that refer to you as a troll or a bot by those that don't choose to ignore you all together. Which I will also do from this point on.

    9. If AT&T raises my price another time, I will switch to Visible. I am getting fed up with their higher prices without service upgrades.

    10. The posts re how bad trashfone is are coming from various posters, I'm only one, not responsible for the above.

The posts re how trashing trashfone is cluttering the thread or calling people trolls seem to be from a self appointed trashfone remark thread sheriff.

  4. 5mbps data speeds and 480p only for video. Seems similar to Metro but with Verizon coverage.

  5. $40 is way too much for prepaid, that's the same price as T-Mobile post-paid.

  6. Great deal! Unlimited everything (capped at 5 Mbps speed) only with $40, on the best network!

  7. Interesting! I guess Verizon is getting dragged kicking and screaming into the prepaid era. It's good to see them enter the arena. Competition is good for everyone

  8. Don't be a sucker for Visible until you read their privacy policy. You authorize them to collect, read and sell virtually all the information you generate. By far the worst of all carriers. Do your homework, even if the privacy policy is tl:dr. This has been reported on other sites.

  9. Any further news as of May 2019 with Visible getting WiFi Calling feature up and running ???
