Xfinity Mobile is bringing back one of its iPhone-exclusive promotions.

Earlier today, the Comcast-owned MVNO revealed that it will be offering a $100 Visa Prepaid Card to customers that port-in with a device they own. As explained, this promotion is exclusively available to iPhone owners since they do not support Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) on Android devices.

In order to get the Prepaid Card, you need to have an Xfinity Internet post-pay subscription so you can sign up for their mobile plans. Only select iPhone models are eligible for the offer. These devices include the following:

  • Apple iPhone 6 (AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint compatible)
  • Apple iPhone 6 Plus (AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint compatible)
  • Apple iPhone 6s (AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint compatible)
  • Apple iPhone 6s Plus (AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint compatible)
  • Apple iPhone 7 (Verizon and Sprint compatible)
  • Apple iPhone 7 Plus (Verizon and Sprint compatible)
  • Apple iPhone 8 (AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint compatible)
  • Apple iPhone 8 Plus (AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint compatible)
  • Apple iPhone SE (AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint compatible)
  • Apple iPhone X (AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint compatible)
  • Apple iPhone XR (AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint compatible)
  • Apple iPhone XS (AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint compatible)
  • Apple iPhone XS Max (AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint compatible)

Once you meet all the requirements, you need to activate your phone within 30 days after ordering the line. At the time of activation, you can request for a number port. Xfinity Mobile requires your account to remain active and in good standing for a minimum of 90 days. Once those conditions are met, you will receive the prepaid card within 16-18 weeks after activation. The card has an expiry date of 180 days. Only 5 phones are limited per account. For those who previously had a line with Xfinity Mobile, the promotion is no longer available.

This promotion is available until January 27, 2019.

  1. for profit purposes, not worth it. the rebate card couldn't justify the expenses spent before you get the rebate.
