Cricket Wireless Reveals New Samsung Galaxy J2 Pure, Offers 50% Off on Samsung Galaxy S9

Cricket Wireless has a number of devices it offers to customers. Today, it has introduced a new mid-range smartphone called the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pure. The AT&T prepaid brand has also brought down the price of the Samsung Galaxy S9.

Samsung Galaxy J2 Pure

One of the devices that Cricket Wireless unveiled today is the Galaxy J2 Pure. This particular smartphone comes with a 5-inch qHD display with Dragontrail glass protection. It has a 1.4GHz Quad-Core processor with up to 16GB onboard storage. There is a microSD card slot for up to 512GB memory expansion.

On the back, the Galaxy J2 Pure has an 8-megapixel camera. A secondary camera is available in front with a 5-megapixel sensor. It also has a 2,600mAh removable battery on the back.

Cricket Wireless has priced this phone at $119.99 with a qualifying monthly service plan purchase.

Samsung Galaxy S9

Samsung is just a few days away from unveiling their latest flagship device, the Galaxy S10. In line with this launch, Cricket Wireless has decided to offer a 50 percent discount on the Galaxy S9. 

The discount is applicable for port ins from existing numbers from different carriers (excluding AT&T). You also need to activate service on at least the $55 per month plan. When all these conditions are met, you can get the Galaxy S9 at $349.99 instead of the device's current no-contract price, $700. 

The plan comes with unlimited calls, texts, and up to 3Mbps data. If you wish to remove the data cap, you will need to pay an extra $5 per month for the Unlimited Extra plan.

  1. The discount is actually available to anyone who activates with Cricket Wireless, it doesn't apply to upgrades is the only limitation.
