Motorola is getting ready to unveil its latest series of smartphones. But while they still have to get ready for the big Moto G7 reveal, they still have a few of their old models to try and dispose of.

Thankfully, Best Buy is currently offering two of these mid-range devices at lower prices.

Here are the two Motorola devices currently on sale at Best Buy:

Moto X4

The Moto X4 was released in the U.S. on October 2017 at a price of $399.99 for the base 32GB model. Currently, it is prized at an insane $50 price.

The device comes with a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display and runs on a 2.2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 630 processor with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, and up to 2000GB memory expansion. There is a 12-megapixel main rear-facing sensor and a secondary 8-megapixel camera. In front, another 16-megapixel camera is available for selfies and video calls. The phone also includes a 3,000mAh battery, fingerprint sensor, IP68 water and dust resistance, and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat upon release.

Moto G6

The other device currently on sale at Best Buy is the Moto G6. It was launched in the U.S. last April 2018 and sold at a price of $249.99. Right now, it is available at Best Buy for $79.99 for the 32GB variant. Best Buy is also selling the 64GB/4GB RAM variant at $129.99.

The Moto G6 is equipped with a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display. From within, the device runs on a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor with 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, and up to 128GB memory expansion via a microSD card. There is a 12-megapixel main shooter and 5-megapixel secondary sensor on the back of the phone. In front, you can find an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The Moto G6 also includes a fingerprint sensor, 3,000mAh battery, and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo upon unboxing.

Both devices are available unlocked and can be used across all major networks and MVNOs in the country.

  1. Must activate with Sprint. If another carrier it is more $, if "activate later" it is even more.

  2. Those prices are only good if activated on day of sale otherwise both models of the G6 are $100 more.

  3. The X4 is no longer $50. It is $99. The G6 is still $80.

  4. Those prices are with activation. They are $100 more without

  5. 21% out of 500+ Amazon reviews for the G6 are 1-star. Not good. Similar results for X4.

As a comparison, I still use the excellent "made in the USA" 2013 Moto X phone that has survived two unprotected drops onto concrete.

  6. The x4 shows 99.99, not $50. And that's with activation on Verizon. Without add $100.

    1. It's $49.99 if you activate with Sprint but that doesn't include Sprint's one time $45 activation fee plus the cost of a plan. Really not much of a deal. You end up with a very mediocre phone with a very mediocre carrier.

  7. Best Buy requires activation to get the $50 price on the X4. Otherwise, it's $150.

  8. A G6 with a SoC 450. Not worth it.

  11. even if activating on Sprint, you'll get a $45 activation charge so it's $100 no matter what
