AT&T Prepaid OLAM Tool Now Requires Password Instead of a PIN

AT&T Prepaid's Online Account Management (OLAM) tool has finally been updated for improved security.

Yesterday, a HowardForums post revealed that the OLAM now makes use of a password instead of a 4-digit PIN code. This is good news for all AT&T Prepaid users since they can secure their account.

According to the post, the PIN is now only used for calls made to customer service. If you are still using a PIN to log into your account, the OLAM will prompt you to switch to a password the next time you login.

When setting your new password, you will need to pick a secure word or phrase that you can easily remember. Comments on the forum showed that AT&T Prepaid's OLAM required the password to start with a capital letter. In addition to this, there are several other rules that must be followed when choosing a password to use.

But then again, a password is definitely a lot better than logging in with a 4-digit PIN code.
