May is Military Appreciation Month. And in honor of this celebration, Cricket Wireless has partnered with Soldiers' Angels to provide assistance to military veterans.

The AT&T prepaid brand announced that it will be sponsoring all six of the Veteran Mobile Food Distribution of the non-profit throughout the country for the whole month.

Each month, the non-profit organization hosts an event where it provides over 60,000 pounds of food to more than 1,200 veterans and their families situated in six cities-- Atlanta, Charleston, Denver, Detroit, Orlando, and San Antonio.

In addition to providing food to these veterans, the non-profit group encourages participating communities to donate non-perishable food items to those in need. These donated items may be dropped off at a local Cricket Wireless authorized retail store from today until May 31st.

The items donated at retail stores will be used in the Box Lunches offered by Soldiers' Angels and given off to homeless veterans along with low-income veteran patients at VA Hospitals.

Another way Cricket Wireless is honoring this month-long celebration is by offering active duty service members and veterans to Skip the Line at select venues of Cricket-sponsored Live Nation and House of Blues. If you are one, you can simply show your valid VA ID or military ID so you can skip the line throughout the month of May.
